Seaside Hotel Maiko Villa Kobe
"Room is big. Nice view of the harbour and bridge. Only complain is to walk a long way from main building to Spa tower for onsen."
Arima Onsen Hyoe Koyokaku Kobe
"Very nice hot spring. I soaked in the private hot spring for 50 minutes for 3300y. The service was also very good. Although the breakfast had fewer choices, it was enough. I was very happy after eating and drinking for a day and a night."
Arima Onsen Gekkoen Korokan
"Food was great and Eri-san was very friendly and helpful. The room was really clean and love the private onsen with amazing view. I love how attentive Eri-san was as well, the timing in which the next meal came was impeccable, allowing me to enjoy the food thoroughly. Other ryokans I have stayed before (despite being more expensive), the breaks between the food served was very short and it felt like I was rushing to eat. The outdoor hotspring bath was great and perfect for people who cannot stand too high temperatures. Unfortunately, when we wanted to dip in Gekkoen's more traditional and older outdoor hotspring, it was being cleaned. Would love to try dipping in it the next time we visit again."
HOTEL DORMY INN KOBE MOTOMACHI HOT SPRINGS

Merveille Arima
"It is a good, but dated hotel. Mattresses are way due for replacements."
the b kobe
"Very cloudy day~ Good stay~ Thank uou~~~ ^^ Very cloudy day~ Good stay~ Thank uou~~~ ^^"
Hotel Casabella Inn Kobe
"The Hotel was great for the price, but you can probably skip the breakfast."
Kobe Plaza Hotel West
It’s just a short walk from Motomachi Station and Chinatown (Nankin-machi), making it really convenient for sightseeing and food exploration.
Four Points Flex by Sheraton Kobe Sannomiya
The hotel also features a relaxed on-site restaurant serving Japanese and Western set meals, along with handy facilities like laundry.
SK HOTEL KOBE STATION FRONT
"SK hotel is located just 5 minutes away from the Kobe station. It was raining the day we arrived and the underground walkway really helped us on that. Being downtown, there is plenty of food options and close to the port and Chinatown. Room wise, it is a standard Japanese hotel room size, but otherwise functional with all the amenities you need."
KAMENOI HOTEL ARIMA
"Hotel service was good. Dinner and breakfast was provided as part of the stay. Food was good for the stay since there are not much options for food at Arima. Most shops are closed by afternoon. Though the hotel is old but it’s renovated (except for the old wooden cupboard) which made the stay more pleasant. Onsen is indoor and small so will need to go at hours with lesser people."
Ginsuisou Choraku
"Good location, clean room"
Tsukie No Fune
"Nice onsen and private onsen, good meal and clean room"
Arima Royal Hotel
"This hotel has a lot of promise but doesn't quite deliver. The location is beautiful, nestled in the hills above the attractive and calming town of Arima Onsen. The steepness of the location means that anyone with mobility issues is likely to need car transportation to the front door. The hotel itself is well-presented, with a nice modern lobby area that contains drinks machines and serves snacks; these are nice, but are nowhere near a full service. The room itself was a mixed bag. Firstly, we were hoping for an outdoor bath, having been told 'some' rooms of our type contained these, but this was unfortunately not the case. The tatami-style bedroom was lovely and comfortable, but the bathroom was horrible, giving the impression of a renovation which ran out of money halfway through. The shower room appeared not to have been changed for decades and we used it as little as possible. A few touches were also lacking in the room generally: the air conditioning was old and slow, the light fittings also looked dated and the table was cheap and plasticky. Some areas of the hotel were a little unkempt by Japanese standards and made it seem as though the central areas were designed to give a false impression, This is a shame, as the staff were lovely, and elements of the hotel were very nice. With a little bit of refurbishment, this hotel could be very nice but in its present condition, it makes for a frustrating stay."
Candeo Hotels Kobe Tor Road
"The hotel boasts an excellent location and generously sized rooms. · We particularly enjoyed the great onsen located on the top floor. · The service from the front desk staff was exceptional."
