Leopard Tree Lodge

This was our third stay at Leopard Tree Lodge and it was as perfect as our previous stays. Waldo is extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the gardens are stunning. For us it is the perfect place to stay.

We had a great experience at Leopard Tree Lodge. The rooms were very nice, with back power and water, and very central in St Lucia. The hosts (Waldo and Pieter) were very accommodating and helpful, and even assisted with booking and arranging the activities we did during our stay. Would definitely recommend Leopard Tree Lodge for anyone wanting to explore the beautiful St Lucia.

Ideal base for St Lucia. Waldo's communication and care throughout our stay made us feel like royalty. Waldo is professional, welcoming and extremely helpful. He organised activities and provided relevant suggestions for the area, he is knowledgeable and full of tips and recommendations. (They were all spot on) The units were modern, exceptionally clean and well equipped. They are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything one needed to be able to cook. Although the recommended restaurants certainly provided for some delicious dining. We were fortunate to spot a couple of ‘townies’, local hippopotamus, on our way back from our restaurant dinner.

Can highly recommend this lodge. We traveled for a family reunion. Our two sons and their families and my daughter and her family. Each unit was immaculate, well furnished, clean, neat, comfortable and close to beach and restaurants. Loved the pool and communal braai area. Can’t speak highly enough about the lodge and the incredible host, Waldo, who was extremely helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble to him. Gave us great advice re excursions, restaurants and places to visit. This is really a five star establishment and when we revisit St Lucia we would love to stay there again

We had the most wonderful stay at Leopard Tree Lodge. We visited with our son, daughter-in-law and their baby. We hired the Hornbill and Kingfisher apartments which both overlooked the pool and had picnic benches outside the deck which made for peaceful early morning reads and relaxed meals. The apartments have well equipped kitchens with thoughtful equipment such as food storage boxes, full range of cooking equipment, a fridge freezer, hob and microwave oven. The apartments were immaculately clean throughout. The bathroom had a toilet, handbasin and walk-in shower and as someone who is phobic about clean bathrooms I had no problems with this one! There was plenty of storage space in the kitchen for food and the bedrooms for clothing. The air conditioning was efficient. One bonus which is unusual in a self catering apartment is that they were serviced daily so our beds were made, we had new towels and they were cleaned each day. The lodge enjoys a perfect location backing directly onto the forest provided a stunning backdrop with numerous species of birds and wildlife. Walking through it was possible during the day. Whilst on the edge of St Lucia, it is just a short, easy and safe 15 minute walk to the centre. The pool area was also extremely well maintained with sunbeds and cushions and the pool was a good size for swimming. It was cleaned regularly. Behind the pool was a covered braai area with picnic tables providing a perfect area for an evening meal. Waldo and his team were great! Welcoming, helpful and full of tips for local restaurants and places to visit. There is plenty to do in the area including trips to the game park, hippo and croc tours, snorkelling at Cape Vidal. All in all this was the perfect accommodation and destination for a holiday which you can make as busy or relaxing as you want to. We would definitely return.

Leopard Tree Lodge is ideally situated with beautifully manicured gardens. We watched warthog and deer from the garden near the swimming. Lovely walks from the lodge and at night you can hear the Bush babies in the trees. Absolutely ideal base for St Lucia. Waldo's communication and care throughout our stay made us feel like royalty. He organised all our activities and provided relevant suggestions for the area. The units were clean and well equipped. Very comfortable. Don't stay anywhere else in St Lucia. This place is a gem.

Great place with best location in town . If You are lucky You will see hippos on site. Lovely pool and apartments very clean and beautiful , Waldo the manager very helpful. Do not look for something else its totally worth it. Highly recomended

We had a lovely holiday in a beautiful apartment in the prettiest , safe, village of st. Lucia. Beautiful wildlife & beach around the corner. Nice restaurants and shops walking distance. Clean towels & linnen every day! We loved it! Thanks Waldo! (Renout fam)

Leopard Tree Lodge is a gem in St Lucia. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated.The kitchen had everything one needed to be able to cook. The pool was sparkling clean and a welcome relief from the summer heat. The garden is stunning and filled with wildlife.Waldo is professional and welcoming and extremely helpful. Shaun and I really enjoyed our time together whilst staying here. Highly recommended.
