Fabulous views and wonderfully welcoming hosts. Room was great, very comfortable and nothing wanting or too much trouble. Lovely breakfasts and optional home cooked evening meals using local produce - particularly excellent venison pie! Great to also be able to purchase drinks as needed. Great facilities in the village too. A spectacular location for nature lovers with lots literally on the doorstep and anyone wanting a tranquil and relaxed few days

Lochaline Hotel Magical place Stunning position. Beautiful views from rooms and spared lounge/dining area. Peaceful and tranquil! Spotless and lovely interior touches. Beds so comfy and pillows! Great hosts! Friendly and very helpful!! Food homely and pizzas are great! For nature enthusiasts it’s a paradise…. Nothing bad at all to say!

What a fantastic little hotel. We only stayed one night be could have easily stayed a week . The room was lovely. Spotlessly clean,great shower. Wonderful breakfast cooked to order. Nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommended

This is a lovely hotel, the hosts are welcoming and attentive, ourroom was lovely, cleanliness top notch, great shower and comfy beds. Fantastic location right at the sea and potential for seeing wildlife. Good food at reasonable prices. Couldn't ask for more.

A lovely small hotel with stunning views out over the loch. Binoculars and wildlife books are provided, and Peter (who runs the hotel with his wife Shaley) is very knowledgeable about local wildlife. My room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud. Dinners were very good - I recommend the venison burger - and breakfasts also good: Shaley’s home-made banana bread was delicious. A great place to stay as a base for wildlife tours: Peter does tours and wildlife guiding, and I very much appreciated seeing White-tailed eagles and puffins. I will definitely be back for a longer stay!

The Lochaline hotel is perfectly situated very close to the ferry to Mull. The room is very comfortable and Shaley is the perfect hostess. We ate dinner there which was really good (homemade pizza with a superb crust). Breakfast was stand choices of cereals, fruit & juices with made to order eggs & hot food. We finished our evening on the chairs out front enjoying the view. Highly recommend, would definitely stay again. Shaley, thanks for the great stay!

Absolutely wonderful relaxing break whilst touring Scotland, lovely hotel with fantastic views across to mull, we could have stayed forever and definitely the most picturesque hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Thank you to our lovely hosts shaley and Peter for making our stay so fabulous. I’d thoroughly recommend everybody staying there just once to experience the beautiful scenery and tranquility of the area

Excellent hotel run by a really friendly couple. Had an excellent home made pizza while the rest of the family had locally produced pies, which they were all very pleased with. The rooms were fine. Comfortable beds. Clean. All you need really. Definitely recommend.
