We stayed here for one night in between our bike ride on the shimanami kaido. We choose to do the bike route in two days to relax and enjoy it. Room: We had a very good futon in our room. The decoration is very nice. It is clean and simple yet beautifull. Service: the staff is amazing here. They helped my boyfriend plan a romantic dinner in the restaurant opposite the hotel (also an amazing good restaurant!). Location: The hotel is in a good location on Ikuchijima. It is not that far off the main cycle route and the town is very nice to walk through. Not many people may stop during the bike route, but we do recommend it. It is important to also see the local culture and towns on the islands. Breakfast was served in SOIL and was amazing! You can choose for Japanese or western style breakfast. We personnaly prefer the Japanse breakfast. Their coffee is also quite good. The design of SOIL is very beautifull. We felt very relaxed during our breakfast. A special thank you to the hotel staff for helping plan our special moment at their hotel and at the restaurant. ＜3

We loved the surroundings, with walks along the waterfront and through the neighborhood, and the beautiful scenic Shimanami highway. Very peaceful. Staff was attentive and welcoming.

It was very clean and perfect. There is no TV in the room, so I guess I have to be creative in how I spend my time. Unfortunately, there are not many places to eat nearby. Especially since I had small grandchildren with me, it was even more difficult to find a store. When I walked to the store (10 minutes) that the hotel staff told me about, I found out that it was closed...I ended up going back the same way I came.

Three people stayed here. However, there was only one face towel in the bathroom in the room, so
I thought it would be better to at least have one for each person. Bath towels and face towels for public baths are for public baths, so... Also, I think there's a difference in values, but we didn't have a TV, so all the information was from my cell phone. Wi-fi is available.
