"Perfect for travelers willing to explore onomichi or to start the biking of the Shimanami. It is located right by side of the ferry to start the biking itinerary. The hotel is offering comfortable rooms, excellent service, and a convenient location. There are a on-site amenities, including meeting rooms, biking racks and a restaurant. They offered us room upgrade to a larger room for free. Highly recommended!"

" I would like to give a top grade to Beacon hotel.  it is on the second floor of Onomichi station. This time we was upgrade to a very cozy family room. we are very happy to see that is a simple kitchen. We were on bicycle travel from Imabari. Our luggage was sent to the room before we check in. Staffs are all very kind and easy communicate. Only heard one time train pass by after we slept. Bed is large and very comfortable. Very new hotel. Highly recommend!"

"Great design, cozy rooms, a bit chilly in the bathroom because we were there in January. The windows overlooked the harbor, and ships sailed by in the morning, very beautiful. We arrived late, when the restaurant had already stopped taking orders, but the manager came to the rescue and took our order, and we went to bed full. Very close to the station, ferry, and bike rental. There's a shop with merch, local products, and souvenirs, as well as a Giant bike shop right in the hotel building. Great start point to Shimanami Kaido cycling route"
