Lakeside Inn

This place is in front of the lake on a side street off the main road very quiet and beautiful property .you have direct access to outside no elevators convenient for smokers or anybody who likes to get fresh air often. Its cleaner than other big named brand places ive stayed at in the area the owners are a young couple who are currently trying to update an old gem i can only see better things coming for this business in the future!! my only really small complaints would be for added door safety chain lock / dead bolt and to stress out to other patrons to park in front of there door so others have parking infront of the room they stay and paid for maybe painted lines or numbers in front of the spots . All in all i would highly recommended this place and would definitely be staying here again in the future all the best 👍!

I couldn't find my confirmation in my email, so i booked another place. Then tonight i found it in text messaging, which i wasnt expecting. Anyway, it was too late to cancel. I couldn't remember the name of the hotel. I assumed i had email confirmation. So, sorry i was a no show. I meant to be there. I booked through *******, so I don't think it's the hotel's fault. I should have kept better track of the reservation.

Our stay was great! We were very happy with the cleanliness of our room. The location was convenient, parking was excellent and the staff were very kind to us. I would definitely stay there again.

Great view of Lake Simcoe Close to ****** Rama Friendly Check in Very cold room and awful pillows

This seems like a popular place to stay when visiting Orillia or ****** Rama on a budget. The service was fast and friendly. The room was clean and tidy. The hot water radiators were struggling to keep the room warm during our stay in -15C weather. There was some sound bleed from adjoining units but overall satisfactory accommodation.

The staff were very friendly, it was easy to find and to park, and a comfortable bed. The rooms are very dated, and the biggest problem is not being able to control the temperature in the room. It was way too hot. There is an air conditioner but in December you need to be able to lower the heat. The windows do actually open which helped a bit. It's not far off the highway but not really walkable to anywhere other than the park across the road. Great view of the lake though.

A good overnight stay. Check in friendly and efficient. We had a balcony room so you drive around the building and walk into your room. A basic room. Very firm bed. Nice view, with balcony and yes, you can open a window for fresh air. It does have a microwave and fridge/freezer which is handy. TV is satellite and not easy to navigate. No counter in washroom, just the sink. Hood pressure for shower. Clean. The one issue they have to rectify is the heating. We were there in the winter. It has baseboard electric which is fine but to control it you have to get on your hands and knees and adjust it on the heater itself. You cannot tell if you are increasing or decreasing heat because it has been painted over. Please connect and put controls on the wall. The price is right for an overnight stay.

Very nice privately owned inn. Reception area (and person) bright and cheery. Not a new place, but nicely updated. Very comfortable and clean. Small frigde, microwave, coffee pot, and pot to warm water for tea were provided too. A friend and I were there just a couple nights when we attended two concerts at ****** Rama. Easy nine minute drive from the ******. I would recommend as well as stay there again. Lake Simcoe is just across the street! Oh and I noticed a nice park and playground within walking distance.
