Nest Hotel Osaka Umeda Reviews

I’ve stayed here four or five times, the first time being in 2018. It’s not changed at all. Quality is great. Front desk staff friendly and polite. Downstairs area functions like a lounge room, microwave facilities available too. The location is close to Midosuji line and Umeda night area too. Great value for money.

Being arranged to a room on the 2nd floor which has no view. The size is enough for one person. Cleanliness is fair for this hotel with room for improvement. The merit is in walking distance to the shopping spots at Umeda.

We were so glad we booked this hotel. The location is just walking distance from Osaka umeda station and Osaka station. There is also a 7/11 right next door which has an ATM. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Rooms are decent, and all amenities are free. Highly recommended!

Location and service are good. But the room is very small as expected and similar with most Japan hotel.

Great hotel for a stopover in Osaka. Location is 10mins walk from Umeda station. Room is small but clean, warm and with all amenities you would need. 7/11, Starbucks and good Japanese restaurants very nearby.

Cleanliness - Overall the hotel wasn't as clean or maintained as the photos made ou especially in common areas. The photos uploaded are accurate but not really a representation of how it looks or how it has aged since taking the photos. Location - It is in a good location close enough to the station to walk. Bit of a truck coming from the shinkansen station tho. Service - There was nothing about the service that stood out. An example of this was on checking out, we couldn't even get the reception to order a taxi for us. We were told we would need to flag a taxi down on the street at 6am which I felt was a bit weird. Another example I left a pair of shoes in my room when checking out, they were a few months old. I am not fussed about them, but not once the hotel contacted me to tell me that I left them. Amenities - Little to nothing Overall the hotel has aged and not what you expect when arriving. The rooms are very small with hardly any space to have a suitcase. We tried to get the bigger room after checking in but the cost to upgrade was ridiculous. I wouldn't come back to this hotel and I wouldn't be able to recommend it to anyone.
