Aloft by Marriott Osaka Umeda

This was my second time staying here. The room was very spacious and clean, which I liked. It's a bit far from the station, but for the price, I'm satisfied!

The room was better than the Marriott near Tennoji. It's super convenient for shopping in Umeda, no worries about sun or rain. There was a slight mix-up during check-in, but the staff handled it proactively and positively. The room was surprisingly spacious (compared to typical Japanese hotels).

The hotel is located right on a busy street, so it was incredibly noisy at night with constant motorcycles and ambulances. I didn't stay on the A or B sides, which I assume would be quieter. The mattress was a Simmons with two pillows. The showerhead was Hansgrohe, but the water pressure was very low, just a trickle. The toilet was a TOTO Washlet smart bidet. The sink was Kohler. There's a mini-fridge for chilling, but no freezer. The industrial-style decor made the room feel quite dark, and let's just say it looked a bit grimy. It's about a 10-minute walk from Nishi-Umeda Station, though navigation suggested Higobashi, both are similar distances. Watanabebashi Station is a 5-minute walk, but you can't transfer to the Nankai Electric Railway there. There's a McDonald's and FamilyMart right across from the hotel. Seemed to have a lot of European guests.

The location is quite convenient, and the lobby design is very stylish. The room has all the basic amenities you'd expect from a chain hotel – it's clean, practical, and quite spacious. The view from the window is also a nice touch.

The room was clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. I often book this hotel when I come to Osaka.

The hotel service was extremely poor. For three days straight, I had to keep going back to my room because it smelled bad. After complaining, they sent an air freshener, but it didn't solve the problem properly. In the middle of the night, a red light came on, indicating the air freshener needed water, but the tank was empty, causing a burning smell! If I hadn't noticed it, it could have led to a serious and dangerous situation! I can't even imagine what would have happened if it had caught fire!! When I complained to the front desk, they had a terrible attitude. I will absolutely never stay at this hotel again when I visit Osaka!

No need to say much, this is my second stay here. It's a bit of a walk from Osaka Station, but the rooms have high ceilings, are spacious and bright. For Japan, the rooms are definitely large. There are a lot of foreign guests, probably because it's a Marriott property. I even saw Japanese people waiting for the restaurant on the first floor to open, so the food must be good.

The room is quite spacious. Facilities: Very new, and the gym is great. Hygiene: Clean and comfortable. Environment: The hotel's design is novel and unique. Service: Warm and attentive, very satisfied. All in all, I had a great impression of the hotel, and I'll definitely come back next time.
