Just back from Gabus and I could have stayed forever! this 7000ha private game reserve / farm is just incredible as are the family that own and run it, who are so kind and will bend over backwards to help you. Great activities on offer. All the other guests were great, quiet, considerate, friendly...The food was really yummy and plentiful. The rooms were lovely, sweet touches, flowers, turn down service, lovely hand and bath products, cosy and comfy duvets and pillows, and with some of the quietest air conditioning I've ever experienced! There's so much more I could say but why don't you go and experience it for yourself!

we stayed in Gabus Lodge for 2 nights and were very lucky to spend our Christmas Eve there. The place is magical, it's a big farm with many animals you can watch. The rooms are big and very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were amazing too, we sat outside while looking at the animals in the morning. The most beautiful thing about the place is that an amazing family runs it. They are so warm and welcoming. We enjoyed staying there with our body and mind. Thank you so much.

We have been to Gabus Game Ranch four times already and will be back again soon. Our favorite guest farm in Namibia. Amazing scenery, lovely people, delicious food, lots of wildlife and horseback riding including delicious bush breakfast. Love the game drives and photo spots to view the animals. Watching the wild animals at the waterhole during dinner is always very special. Can wholeheartedly recommend Gabus.

The staff were all incredible, from front desk to dinner, all amazing.
Loved this little retreat in the country, you can watch animals at the water hole from the private terrace off your room. Lovely pool area to relax in and they have a campfire in the evening with a view of the water hole.
Breakfast was excellent, dinner was on the pricier side for a lodge at N$400 pp but the quality was outstanding so I was ok with it.

After two weeks of heat and dust, my wife and I were ready to chill for a few days before going home. Gabus Lodge proved to be the perfect place to do this in every way! Amazing food at a reasonable price, good wine, lovely service and staff and an all round amazing environment to watch wildlife and soak up the sun. We would recommend stopping by wholeheartedly.

The place is great value for money. Wonderful people with great service. Buildings show the old farm, so bit out dated but giving the place a feel that you miss wit many fancy places. Rooms are great and clean. Having great view over a waterhole. so there are a lot of wild animals passing by.

Superb quality accommodation in a great location. I totally loved this place. Beautiful modern luxurious cabins, all with a view of the waterhole. Great game views day and night. Superb food, great friendly and professional staff. Game drives are available mornings and evenings, and they are very good value Lots of different species seen across the enormous ranch, plus some areas where you can walk on your own.

We spent one night here as part of a Gate 1 tour. The rooms are more spacious than any rooms we had on this trip and the food (dinner and breakfast) were superb! The grounds are beautifully landscaped and there’s a waterhole directly behind the reception building. Our room also looked out on the waterhole, but the view wasn’t as good as from the campfire ring behind reception. We saw impala, gnus, springbok, as well as a giraffe. We found that internet service in rooms in the backcountry of Namibia was generally poor. That was also the case here. We had sporadic 1 bar of service in the corner of our room where the desk was. It wasn’t much of a problem as there was sufficient signal strength in the reception area.

Gabus Game Ranch is a unique place. You can go and relax and enjoy whatching animals at the water hole while having a sundowner drink. We camped there and enjoyed a relaxing evening at the fire. The people are very friendly and the campsite and bathrooms are neat. Nice swimmingpool area. Will recommend it.
