I recently stayed at Shangri-La Paris and had a mixed experience. I had specifically paid for a room with a view, but unfortunately, for the first two days, I didn’t get the room I had booked, which was disappointing—especially considering the high standards expected from a luxury hotel like this.
However, after raising the issue, the hotel finally provided me with the correct room. The next two days were much better, and I must say the view was absolutely breathtaking—definitely worth the wait. The iconic sights of Paris from the room were truly unforgettable, making the experience feel special.
Overall, while the initial inconvenience was frustrating, the hotel did make up for it in the end with the stunning view I had originally hoped for. I’d recommend double-checking your room upon arrival, but once everything is sorted, the experience can be magical.

I stayed in the peninsula hotel for three nights during my trip in Paris, it was a wonderful time and and it’s worth to stay and off course it is very peninsula. the restaurant call Lili tastes so good, thanks for their team work especially Tien who work on several issues that I was concerned about during my stay, let me feel that it was not only a five star hotel but his attitude and find the solution making you feel home away from home. One regret is the rooftop closed during my stay but hopefully will reopen soon for the guests soon.
.
The hotel is better than expected. It is very close to the Eiffel Tower and there are many restaurants around. The room is bigger than expected, the bathroom is clean and comfortable, but the shower room is small. It is very close to the Guimet Museum.

Everything else is good, especially the front desk staff is very welcoming, which is rare in Europe. The hotel is in a good location, very close to the Arc de Triomphe.
The bathroom facilities are of poor standard and very average.
The service is very good👍
The room is a little small though. It would be better if the mattress could be a little harder. It's super soft and makes me very tired when I sleep.
The surrounding environment of the hotel is beautiful, the park is nearby, and the Paris football museum and club are near. The room is clean and tidy, and the service attitude is very good. It is a good choice for tourism and business trips. It is 20-30 minutes' drive from downtown attractions such as the Arc de Triomphe, which is very convenient.

Five-star hotel five-star service, everything is good, the suite has a large terrace, suitable for a drink in the evening Haha, there is a handsome little English brother at the front desk
The hotel also has a free spa, but the schedule is too tight and the opportunity to do it is a bit wasteful. The hotel is very close to the Arc de Triomphe, walk for 5-10 minutes
The room is large, the bathroom is spacious and relatively clean. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was good, breakfast was rather monotonous, and the service staff at the front desk and restaurant were very nice. The only downside is that the TV is not yet a smart TV.
The environment is very good. I booked a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Of course, the price is not cheap, 8,000 per night.
However, there are definitely other issues with this hotel
First, steal oil.
We drove here, and they provided parking service for 30 euros a night, but when we handed our car to them, there were 2 bars of gas left. When we received the car, there was not a single bar of gas left, and they even reminded us that there was no gas left. travel
And I found that my seat had been adjusted to a flat position. I was confused until I saw that there was no gas.
Second, the breakfast is inconsistent
When we arrived, the front desk said that our breakfast was a buffet and it was all freshly cooked. It had a rich menu, including sushi, pasta and other foods. In fact, please see the picture. It just gives you a basket of bread, a cup of coffee, and more. A yogurt. They also wanted to charge me 20 euros per person. I went directly to the front desk to complain, and then I turned around and said that your room rate was included and there was no need to pay extra. And he also showed me picture 2, the so-called buffet
I'm so angry that my liver hurts

WWenyouxiaojingjingCastle Hotel, 1. Location: The actual location is in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, not far from the Arc de Triomphe, but you need to take a car to all scenic spots and shopping areas, and it is far away. This area is considered to be deep in Paris. It seems to be the rich embassy area. There are 0 Asian faces walking around the hotel, and they are all locals walking dogs. 2. The hotel itself is not big, and it should have been redecorated as a whole. The garden fountains inside and out are very delicate and beautiful; the decoration materials and decorations are all exquisite and good things. 3. Breakfast is 42 Euros, continental breakfast, no merits, but the restaurant is very beautiful and worth eating. 4. This hotel is very old as a whole, and the guests are also older. The atmosphere is a bit serious. Maybe I am too young. So I don’t think it’s as good as the atmosphere of Bulgari and Baima.
