Amazing
HHayley :)Absolutely was satisfied with my stay here with my Mum. It was so clean and well organised and very welcoming staff! Loved the pool that run till 9pm, sun lit and very convenient area that’s really close to Bendigo cbd. Staff answered all my questions with kindness and quick response. I would love to visit again for sure!!!
JJYYLinExcellent location. Right in the middle of the town, next to Rosalind Park where they had the Bendigo Easter Festival. Saw the night parade and day parade right in front of the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Tram stop was just 2 minutes walk. Room was clean and very spacious. Will definitely stay again on my next visit.

GGuest UserEverything was so easy from start to finish. Communication was excellent and the room was neat and tidy and exactly as advertised. Price was outstanding value for money. Would definitely stay again when in Bendigo.
GGuest UserThe experience was not good.
The water cup was placed in the refrigerator. I didn't see any problems at first. When the cup was placed at room temperature, I found that the inner wall of the cup was very dirty, and there was a layer of white foam after pouring water.
The faucet of the bathroom basin was leaking, and there was already green moss at the drain.
The sound insulation in the room was very poor.
The sound of the mobile flatbed truck in the restaurant downstairs was very noisy.
The curtain track was broken, resulting in poor shading.
The hair dryer was broken.
The overall decoration was old.
At first, the microwave and the kettle had no power, and the front desk quickly came to change the power key.
GGuest UserBest to avoid courtyard room. We chose this room before there is a queen and a single bed. However, the single bed was a rollaway bed, which is not so comfortable. The train tracks are just right behind the room, which can be quite noisy in the morning. The fittings are a bit old, in particular the ceiling lamp, which were made up of one warm white light bulbs and two daylight bulb. Sound proofing was bad that you could hear kids running around outside the room. The worst is the plumbing, you can never get the right temperature for the water, and unluckily our neighbor decided to take shower at 2:50am and the squeaky sound from the tap was loud which freaked us out. The service was ok.
GGuest UserWe have stayed at the property before, largely because of its very convenient location. We were going to the ‘Paris - Impressions of Life’ exhibition at the Bendigo Art Gallery, which is just over the road. The rooms are small and the bathroom tiny so OK for a night or two, but not longer. Also, Room 1, where we were, would benefit from an additional bedside light. Having only one is not very satisfactory. On this last occasion there were a fair few ants inside - unusual at the cusp of autumn and winter. On a more positive note, we did have a very good meal at Wine Bank on View, which is at the front of Allawah.
TtorinessWe stayed at the Shamrock to go to the Frida Kahlo exhibition at the Bendigo art gallery. It was in the perfect location for this - on the other side of the lovely central park. It's also an easy walk to the Golden Dragon museum which is another Bendigo highlight. The rooms are very comfortable, the hotel is lovely and historic, and the restaurant and bar on the ground floor is excellent. We had a great time and would absolutely stay again
GGuest UserThe location was good .The price was very reasonable the facility were acceptable however better cleaning was required as I checked the beside tables & found a drug bag next to the bible in bedside I would have overlooked it but my 9 yr old was present at the time which was totally unacceptable & made the moment uncomfortable with having to explain the situation. Not happy at the least better care was required to protect my child from such exposure to illicit *****.
GGuest UserBooked for a family of 4 (two adults and two children). Arrived after office hours, room was only set up for 3 guests to sleep. Had to sleep on the floor so wife and kids could sleep. Contact after hours number was told they couldn’t do anything until the next morning. Very disappointed and won’t be returning. Lots of traffic at all hours of the night coming/going which kept us awake
