Hotel is located below a billiard club with constant streaming of outsiders customers, smokers, noisy environment! Lobby and lounge area is used by other building visitors, delivery boys with obvious security lax. Not conducive as a hotel for vacationers. Tourist attractions require Didi hailing cabs after one metro line 3

I had an amazing stay at Ji hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Songsan area. The environment is exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made the entire stay feel comfortable and relaxing. The hotel features a modern and stylish design, with beautiful interiors that give a very luxurious and contemporary atmosphere. The room was very spacious and thoughtfully designed, providing plenty of comfort and space to relax after a long day. Everything felt new and well organized, which added to the overall premium experience. One of the best things about this hotel is its excellent location. It is very convenient to travel anywhere in the city, with many attractions easily accessible nearby. There is also a large shopping mall directly beside the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment without needing to travel far. The traffic at this area quite heavy and a lots of cars sound their horn that could be disturbing, however I didn’t experience the noise pollution after late night hence it is acceptable to me. Their breakfast start from 7am-10am and plenty of choices even though only Chinese style is served. Hopefully their coffee machine is working in the future, as an overseas traveller, coffee is part of our basic need. One thing I wish to special highlight is about the free laundry, you can view the available machine slots from your room (open the TV and you can see the info). Super convenient! You don’t have to walk all the way to the laundry area to check by yourself. I would definitely give this hotel a full 5-star rating and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Location: 5/5 – Absolutely Strategic! The biggest strength of this hotel is its unbeatable location. You’re steps away from McDonald's and Luckin Coffee for quick bites and caffeine. A well-stocked mall is right beside the hotel, making it super easy to grab daily necessities. The best part? A lively night market is directly opposite the hotel! This makes finding delicious, affordable local food incredibly convenient any time of the evening. The whole area is very 热闹 (rènào - bustling/energetic) – perfect if you want to be in the heart of the action. Cleanliness: 3/5 – Okay for the Price, Manage Expectations The general cleanliness is acceptable, if you adjust your expectations. It's definitely not a 5-star luxury experience, but for a budget/mid-range stay, it's passable and reasonably maintained. Don't expect immaculate perfection, but the basics are covered. Room & Atmosphere: 2/5 – Persistent Smoke Smell The major downside, especially in the rooms and hallways, is a strong and pervasive smoke smell. It's quite noticeable and doesn't dissipate easily. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue in many hotels within the region, but it's definitely present and unpleasant here if you're sensitive to it. Breakfast: 1/5 – Strongly Not Recommended / Unhygienic Avoid the breakfast option. Hygiene standards here are very poor. I personally observed small cockroaches crawling on the tables in the breakfast area. This is completely unacceptable and a major health red flag. Do yourself a favor and skip it entirely. Thankfully, with McDonald's, Luckin, the mall food court, and the fantastic night market opposite, you have plenty of much better (and cleaner) alternatives nearby. Overall: This hotel is all about the location, location, location. If being in a super convenient, vibrant area with easy access to food, coffee, and shopping is your top priority, and you're on a budget, it serves that purpose. The cleanliness is tolerable for the category. However, the strong smoke smell in the rooms and corridors is a significant drawback, and the breakfast is dangerously unhygienic (cockroach sighting confirmed). Choose this hotel for the prime spot if you can tolerate the smoke and definitely plan to eat breakfast elsewhere. Who should stay: Budget-conscious travelers prioritizing an unbeatable, lively location who aren't sensitive to smoke smells and will skip the hotel breakfast. Who should avoid: Families with young children, travelers sensitive to smoke, those prioritizing high cleanliness standards, or anyone planning to eat the hotel breakfast.

Outstanding hotel, highly recommended. Well-located within walking distance of Dongguan’s 33 Town entertainment district, and not too far from the main railway station.  Rooms are large, clean, and very comfortable, well-stocked with lots of useful items. The bathrooms are clean and well-presented, with the full range of amenities.  Breakfast is excellent, with a wide range of foods, all well-cooked and delicious. I didn’t have time to try the hotel restaurants but I’m sure they’re excellent too.  The staff are efficient, polite and discreet. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. Amy was particularly helpful - thank you! An aiyi delivered a gift of fruit and a soft toy, which we liked, and the doorman was very polite too.  I will definitely be back!

I rarely write long reviews, but my two-night stay during the ***** New Year holiday was absolutely delightful and exceeded my expectations – excellent! The hardware is superb because their room design is truly unique: no wardrobe, and the sink/vanity area is separate, located outside the main toilet and shower area. The software (service) is also excellent: we were sitting in the lobby on the third floor, enjoying a coffee, when the two on-duty staff members (one male, one female) promptly helped resolve an issue with the coffee machine – commendable! On the second and third days, we went down one floor to the restaurant for breakfast. It was a comfortable experience, and the coffee there was even better than in the lobby. I personally loved their beef congee, and the pickled vegetable side dishes were great. On the second day, I also tried a burrito, which was delicious. You could really feel the dedication of the restaurant staff. If I ever have the chance to visit Humen East again, I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel. Upon checking out, I even received a small gift: ”Joy! Peace and Serenity!” My sentiments exactly!

Great location, really convenient to get around and close to everything. The hotel was clean and well maintained, which made the stay comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was smooth. Rooms were decent and had everything needed for a short stay. Would stay again.

The location is super convenient, right next to the subway station. It's also close to shopping malls like Guomao and Vanke, so it's great for shopping. The service was warm and attentive; the front desk staff was very responsive to all our requests. I highly recommend it for your 51 (May Day) holiday trip!

The environment is quiet and serene, with a subtle Chinese garden style. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped (it would be even better if they provided two pairs of slippers for showering). Kids enjoyed playing in the water, while adults worked out and hiked. The service was a bit lacking, though. The service robot was slow to respond, and we had to chase down staff multiple times for assistance, likely due to understaffing. During the May Day holiday, check-in was really slow; we didn't get our room key until after 6:30 PM. Thankfully, the manager was flexible and arranged for the kids to go swimming first, and even gave us some drink vouchers (for a Coke, Sprite, or instant coffee) for those who weren't swimming.

The hotel provides a wide range of amenities that made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I especially appreciated the daily housekeeping service, which kept the room clean and fresh throughout my visit. The room itself was quite spacious, even though I booked one of the more budget-friendly options, which was a pleasant surprise. One area that could be improved is the lighting control in the room. There is no central switch to dim or turn off the lights, so I had to walk around the room to switch off different lights before going to sleep. Additionally, the bathroom layout separates the toilet from the shower area, requiring a few steps to move between them. The hotel provides clothes washing services but it’s chargeable and the price is on high side. One piece of normal ladies pant cost RMB50, male pant cost RMB45. If you give the clothes the housekeeping staff before 11am, they will send the clothes back to your room within the same day. Pullman Hotel also offers several in-house dining options, including Chinese and Japanese-style restaurants within the premises, which made dining very convenient. If you order food delivery , they have the robot machine to send your food to the room, just make sure you indicated the room number clearly. The lift required a room card to access hence the dispatcher will not be able to send the food to your room. Hotel staff is helpful, I requested them to collect the parcel on my behalf from the locker located at basement and they acting it very fast. Keeping them for me even though the check in date was a week later. Overall, it was still a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Pullma.

I didn’t expect too much from this trip since it was mainly for business, but I ended up being really satisfied with my stay here. The hotel room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The amenities were great too, with a swimming pool, a spacious gym with good equipment, and even a basketball court, which was a nice surprise. The location was also very convenient, with plenty of food options nearby. What impressed me the most was the service. The housekeeping lady cleaned my room every day and was always very hardworking. The front desk ladies were friendly and attentive, and there was always someone available to help. Whenever I had a request, they handled it very quickly. I was well taken care of by several staff members. I remember one of them was named 小竹, though I unfortunately can’t remember the others’ names. One of the night shift ladies even recommended a nearby barbecue place, which turned out to be really nice. Overall, this short stay left me with a very good impression, and I would be happy to stay here again!
