Outstanding
GGuest UserThe hotel looks new, The room is big and very clean, the bed is the most comfortable I had in few months traveling.
And the girls in reception was very kind and helpful. They answered all my questions.
Highly recommended!
YYulia.小妍Clean and comfortable for its price. Good hot shower.
Convenient location not far from the border with Vietnam and very short drive away from the main bus station. There are many shops, restaurants, big supermarket, park and a lovely river promenade all around the hotel.
Excellent efficient staff. The young lady at the desk answered all my questions, helped with directions, transport and even explained to the taxi driver where to take me. For me as a foreigner just having arrived to a new country, that service alone deserves the highest rating. Thank you!
GGuest UserThe room is very spacious. The bedsheet, quilt cover and towels are clean. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located at the back of the main road with a quiet environment. It is so convenient that some street shops are next to the hotel.
DDurianna85It was cheap. Bed sheets were clean. What else do you need when you spend the night after a train waiting for the border crossing to open in the morning.
SShanJun1998A fantastic tropical view hotel experience – pure bliss!
This tropical hotel I stayed at completely exceeded my expectations; it was an absolute gem!
The hotel's environment was impeccable. Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, with trees in full bloom everywhere, a gentle breeze carrying the delicate fragrance of flowers, and the melodious chirping of birds – it felt like staying in a natural oxygen bar, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing my mind and body to relax instantly. The cleanliness was also reassuring. The room was spotless, the bedding was white, soft, and odorless, and every detail – the bathroom, desks, and corners – was impeccably clean. Even the tables and chairs on the terrace were dust-free, demonstrating the staff's dedication.
The view was absolutely stunning! Opening the balcony door revealed a vast expanse of tropical coconut palms, with the azure coastline visible in the distance. Waking up to the sunrise and watching the sunset paint the sky in shades of orange and pink – every snapshot was a masterpiece, requiring no filter. Whether enjoying tea on the room's terrace or relaxing by the hotel's panoramic pool, the soothing tropical scenery is simply breathtaking!
The location is also a huge plus; you can see the Red River from your window and Vietnam across the river. Transportation is convenient, and you can easily step outside to experience tropical streets and sample local delicacies. In short, the environment, cleanliness, and scenery are all impeccable. I'll definitely stay here again on my next tropical trip!
SSteve James55The home-cooked food offered looked delicious, but being vegetarian, sadly I couldn't try it. The hosts were beyond helpful, going to great lengths to help me sort out transportation problems with by ebike, after I discovered there was no luggage consignment available at Hekou North train station. They were willing to store my bike for free until I returned, but in the end managed to organise transport to Lijiang with a local logistics company which I would never have found myself, after all the major firms refused. Can't praise them enough - wonderful people.
ĐĐỗ MinhThe owner is super friendly even though she cannot speak English and I cannot speak Chinese. Once she understands what we want, she will try her best to serve. One member in our group was sick and the owner is very kind to give us ginger and honey when we ask.
The room is clean and quite large for two people. It's totally enough for our group's simple style.
The only disadvantage is it's not near the downtown and may take your time to find out if you do not speak Chinese. But overall for us the experience was still great because we enjoy riding electric bicycle around.
GGelasenyinshouEverything is OK, clean, and it is in the center of Hekou City. There are various noodle shops nearby. The bed is very soft, you can watch TV, and the air conditioner is working normally. Come and stay.
JJean-ÉricThe room and bathroom are quite large.
The WiFi works well. The remote control does not seem to be the one intended for the television.
There is a kettle and we are provided with bottles of water. There is also a water bottle in the hallway.
My room was cleaned quickly because there were traces left at the exit of the bathroom.
You have to be athletic because my room is on the 6th floor without an elevator.
It is difficult to talk to the staff who only speak Chinese even with the translation tools.
But for the price it is really very good.
GGuest UserIt's okay to stay for one night on a business trip, but it's not ideal for tourism, especially if you like to sleep in. There's a building outside that's being renovated, and it's noisy from around 7:00. The room facilities are old and the house is old.
