Hekou Hotels with Wifi

The spacious and bright public areas instantly lifted my spirits. My room was simply superb. It was incredibly roomy and decorated in a warm and comfortable style. The bedding was so soft, like sinking into a cloud, and I slept soundly all night. The room had excellent natural light and ventilation; sunlight streamed through the windows, making it incredibly pleasant. The bathroom was clean and tidy, and the toiletries were of high quality, giving me peace of mind. The hotel service was exceptional. Every staff member was warm and attentive, from their welcoming smiles at check-in to their thoughtful care throughout my stay – every detail was impeccable. Once, I accidentally left something in my room, and the front desk staff contacted me immediately and even kept it safe for me – their sense of responsibility was truly touching. The location is also excellent, with numerous restaurants nearby and convenient transportation. Whether you want to go shopping or visit attractions, it's very convenient. This hotel experience was simply perfect! I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in this city! Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is quite convenient, about a 10-minute walk to the border crossing area. From the higher-floor rooms, you can see the hotels and streets of Vietnam on the other side. There are elementary schools nearby, both downstairs and across the street, so if you're staying on a weekday, it might be a bit noisy during the day. The hotel has been around for a while, so the facilities are a bit older, but overall it's quite clean and tidy. There are many authentic local and Vietnamese food options around downstairs. It offers good value for money. There's only one elevator for all floors, so you might have to wait a bit longer for it.

I stayed in Hekou for several days and stayed in 3 hotels. Hekou Jiashang Business Hotel has the best hardware and software. 1. The parking lot is very large, and it can accommodate more than a dozen buses without any problem. RV tours and motorcycle tours can all come here. During my stay, I saw an RV traveling guy parked here for 2 nights. 2. The room is clean, tidy and big. There are chairs for simple working. 3. Because it opened this year, the bed sheets, duvet covers and pillows are all new, including bath towels. The quality is similar to that used in mid-range hotels. You can tell by touching it. 3. I care about whether the bath water is hot or not, whether the water flow is strong or not, and whether the floor drain leaks quickly. Hekou Jiashang Hotel did not disappoint me in these aspects. 4. The shampoo and shower gel can only be said to be average, but at this price, I don’t dare to expect too much 😂. I think hotels must have a small bar of soap. I remember this one has it. 5. The hotel is quiet. In addition, there are two time-honored restaurants on the right side of the door, which I think are very good. Finally, the small town at the mouth of the river has very good conditions in terms of tourism, food and trade. It has something to offer. If it is built well, it will definitely attract many Chinese and Vietnamese tourists. It is a pity that it has no characteristics now. It is really a pity.

The room, though small, was clean and tidy, and the service was attentive. The hotel is right outside a snack street, and there's also a restaurant inside for groups traveling together, where you can enjoy a family-like atmosphere for just a tiny fee! The hotel environment is quiet, and I really liked the smart facilities, which are super convenient for lazy people like me when traveling. It's less than 500 meters from the port. It's a very clean little town. A really great travel experience.

Okay for one night, nothing special but clean enough, unfortunately very low water pressure

The home-cooked food offered looked delicious, but being vegetarian, sadly I couldn't try it. The hosts were beyond helpful, going to great lengths to help me sort out transportation problems with by ebike, after I discovered there was no luggage consignment available at Hekou North train station. They were willing to store my bike for free until I returned, but in the end managed to organise transport to Lijiang with a local logistics company which I would never have found myself, after all the major firms refused. Can't praise them enough - wonderful people.

The owner is super friendly even though she cannot speak English and I cannot speak Chinese. Once she understands what we want, she will try her best to serve. One member in our group was sick and the owner is very kind to give us ginger and honey when we ask. The room is clean and quite large for two people. It's totally enough for our group's simple style. The only disadvantage is it's not near the downtown and may take your time to find out if you do not speak Chinese. But overall for us the experience was still great because we enjoy riding electric bicycle around.

The five-star praise is for the boss. The service is enthusiastic. The child's phone and watch were forgotten and were left at the front desk for us. The hotel is very close to the port, but the room facilities are a bit older. I just went to check in, so I can stay here for a while.

The room and bathroom are quite large. The WiFi works well. The remote control does not seem to be the one intended for the television. There is a kettle and we are provided with bottles of water. There is also a water bottle in the hallway. My room was cleaned quickly because there were traces left at the exit of the bathroom. You have to be athletic because my room is on the 6th floor without an elevator. It is difficult to talk to the staff who only speak Chinese even with the translation tools. But for the price it is really very good.

Good location of Hekou town area where platform’s hostels are mostly located here. Restaurants, cafe, eateries, mini markets, all least 20+outlets are within 1-5mins walk. Hotel unit is of good wifi signal, hot water shower, clean sheets, water boiler for coffee, drinking water dispenser and cable tv for movie choices, perfect for good rest in this Hekou Boarder Town. Safe choice for Solo female backpacker. Highly recommend! P/s: this hotel is the 3rd move in for me within 18 hours with help from trip.com, personally thinks this hotel is great for global backpackers and totally value for money and I’ve extended a night stay to 3 nights to recuperate from traumatised experience of previous lodgings.
