Guest UserWe just had a very nice two-night stay here while visiting all the diaolou of the area. The location is excellent, about 2km from Zili and walking distance to Li Yuan. Other diaolou clusters are 10-20 mins away. The service was friendly and so helpful during our whole visit. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. We enjoyed beef noodles and tea eggs for breakfast the first day and then a simple buffet breakfast the second day of congee, sweet potatoes, noodles, corn. The room was really nice, very high tech and comfortable. The beds were a little hard for us. That was the only negative. We loved the outdoor space with lots of room to hang out during the day and evening. Overall, an excellent stay in Kaiping.

The room was very clean and tidy, and the service was warm and thoughtful. The owner even upgraded our room for free. I especially loved the design and style within the Diaolou, and the surrounding area was also very unique. It was really quiet at night, so I slept wonderfully! The breakfast was also very special, highly recommend!

Mnbvcxz9Room was large comfortable & clean. Location has many food options downstairs & nearby, a large mall with supermarket across the street. One problem is the building elevators, they’re decrepit, always a long wait.

The room was clean and tidy. The air conditioner was turned on in advance, and it felt cool and comfortable as soon as I entered. There is a big yellow orchid tree in the yard, and the flowers are fragrant. The view is the green fields, which is pleasing to the eye.
The restaurant's food tastes good, but the reception capacity needs to be improved during holidays. It is a bit busy to handle too many people.

The hotel is located within the park and thus we do not need to pay any entry fees and we’re able to walk around the park in the morning when there weren’t many tourists around. They also very kindly upgraded all our rooms to one with view & living room. The breakfast was great, with wide variety and ample seating spaces. There were also many cute ducks right outside the hotel (by the lake) for you to feed/play with.
The hotel also comes with 8 washers/dryers and gym was also very clean. We highly recommend this place!

We had a wonderful stay at the ChaoQi Hotel. After a smooth check-in, a convenient cart picked us up and brought us directly to our room door. The location is incredible, situated inside the Chikan resort where you can find numerous restaurants, shops, and attractions. A great perk was that our stay included entry tickets, giving us the chance to enjoy many of the resort's lively shows. Our room was super comfortable, impeccably clean, and very family-friendly. Our kids especially loved the indoor playground on the ground floor. The buffet breakfast offered a fantastic variety of options, featuring multiple live stations with both Asian and Western choices. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I return to the Kaiping area.

Carl JohanWe arrived very late as of massive traffic jams on the highway in the red rain storm.
At the front desk we politely cued up to check in. When it was our turn a non polite guy squeezed in front. We told him to cue up.. and we told the male front desk staff. Neither did care.
When it was our turn again, he started check us in and the phone rang, (there was now another available front desk staff) he took the phone.
We got our key and asked two things:
When is breakfast ? He say check the information.
Then much more important, hungry kids and wife. It is 22:xx and missed dinner as of the bad weather .
He say it is nothing open at that time . We say must have something to eat. Anything. We asked any store close buy to get instant noodles or so.
Youngest son and me head out around all the old town and could not find anything. We went back after 40min in the rain and asked the hotel opposite. bizarre enough she told there is a 24/7 convenience store on the back of our hotel! Would have saved us to be soaking wet and hungry.
Room was okay. Nothing special. Comfortable bed . Breakfast okay.
Will we stay here again? No not with staffs like that.

Guest UserChikan Qiaoxiao Inn is perfect for a trip with friends. The twin room was spacious and clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the lighting was gentle and warm, making for a truly relaxing stay. In the evening, we sat in the cafe, enjoying the cool breeze and the courtyard's night view. The lights reflecting on the vintage architecture created an incredible ambiance. The service was attentive and detailed. Staying here in the ancient town was both comfortable and picture-perfect.

Guest UserThis hotel was a breath of fresh air! From the moment I stepped in, I was struck by its unique and farm house style design. It wasn't your typical cookie-cutter hotel, and that's exactly what I loved. The peaceful environment was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing for a truly relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and providing to-the-point service – no fuss, just what I needed. A huge plus was the hotel's location. Being within walking distance of so many attractions made exploring a breeze. And when I got hungry, the abundance of great food options nearby was the cherry on top. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay.
It's in rural area and rides may not be to easy to get after 10pm. If you plan to return late to the hotel, be sure to know how to contact the hotel just in case the front desk is closed. Sorry to wake you at the middle of night boss lady!

Guest UserWent there on a rainy day, so it was pretty empty, which ruined the whole experience. They upgraded my room from room type 2 to 1, but I couldn't tell the difference. Luckily, I could still see the fire show – both the iron flower show and the fireworks were beautiful! The bedding in the room felt damp, and the bathroom and toilet doors slammed shut with no soft close, making a loud banging sound every time.
