I also had the chance to experience Song-style incense burning and make my own incense tablets, guided patiently by professional teachers – a truly immersive and ritualistic experience. The wooden-themed guest rooms were cozy and elegant, with soft, skin-friendly linen bedding and a subtle scent of sandalwood, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The service was incredibly warm and attentive. Staff member Longxi was enthusiastic and thoughtful, providing detailed guidance from check-in to recommendations for local attractions. Every detail showed genuine care. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including comforting and delicious Pengzhou-style noodles, alongside both Chinese and Western options to suit all preferences. This place is an oasis of calm amidst the bustle, offering both the tranquil Zen atmosphere of an ancient temple and the convenience of local life. It's the perfect sanctuary to escape the everyday hustle and find inner peace. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a quiet retreat. This is a great location, and I used the hotel as a place of rest while exploring the nearby caves. The room could have been a little cleaner, there was some things on the floor. When I arrived there was no one to greet me, but this was not an issue it was resolved quickly. The room I stayed in was right above the street, so at times it would be loud. Overall my stay was pleasant and if in the area I would consider booking again.
