Self-driving Trip | Yandang Mountain Accommodation Recommendation Homestay: ”Yanqiu Courtyard” Before our arrival, the hostess specifically sent us a list of important notes and mentioned that she would arrange for a driver to pick us up at the station (cars need to be parked in the free parking lot outside the village). The courtyard is right at the entrance of Dalongqiu, and you can see Scissors Peak ⛰️ as soon as you step out. The transportation is extremely convenient. Upon arrival, the hostess greeted me with ”sweetheart” and ”little girl,” which instantly melted my heart! The environment is also beyond words. Each room is named after the corresponding wood used inside, such as Rosewood, Agarwood, Cliff Cypress, Sandalwood, Red Sandalwood, Golden Silk Nanmu, Boxwood, and Padauk... When we left, the hostess even gave a slingshot to the child. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Yandang Mountain 🏠. It truly feels like coming home.

A fantastic guesthouse! Very clean and tidy! Shoe covers are required to go upstairs, so hygiene isn't a concern. We climbed the Via Ferrata in the rain because we hadn't checked the weather forecast, and got soaked. The owner even let us take showers! So kind of owner! It's only a little over 100 yuan a night, such a great deal!

The location is perfect, close to the scenic spots, making it easy to explore the area. They also offer a free transportation service to and from the railway station, which was super convenient. A super perfect B&B! Really, really great! The people are very nice and the accommodation conditions are good! The landlady is super kind. Seeing that we haven't eaten dinner yet, she treated us to dinner (the cooking is good and really delicious). The breakfast is also delicious and quite rich! And someone came to the high-speed rail station to pick up the hard-working brothers and uncles! The sister also upgraded our room. The room is large and clean, and there is an open-air balcony next to it. It's so warm and healing! I also found that the landlady gave me fruits when I came back on the first day. This hotel has a really good price - quality ratio and is comfortable also for Western travelers. The rooms are neat and clean and had enough space even for big luggage. The breakfast buffet was nice and varied enough, albeit fully Chinese cuisine - so don't expect to find your regular toast and orange juice here. The staff at the front desk was either speaking English or using translation tools, so as a foreigner you can manage here even without speaking Chinese. One minor note: the postal services mentioned in the hotel's services actually only entail Chinese internal mail. You won't be able to get your international postcards mailed here (the explanation I was given is, that the local post office only handles country internal mail). It would be good to clarify this in the hotel's service specification to avoid other visitors being disappointed. .

Came here on a business trip from Shanghai. The room is five-star. Very cost-effective and clean. The first choice for business trips. You will get a very good rest! The breakfast is also five-star. Very international. Not far from the city and the beach. There is also a massage shop downstairs. Because of this hotel, I left a good impression on Yueqing.

Free fruit and melon seeds are provided, and the small courtyard has a swing, a waterwheel, and blooming bougainvillea and other unidentified flowers. I booked this guesthouse based on reviews, and after my experience, I wanted to share my thoughts for other guests. The family suite has one large and one small bed. The room is small but fairly clean, and disposable toilet seat covers are provided – nice!

Entering the hotel felt special—walking up a fabulous marble stairway set the tone right away. The rooms were small but comfortable, offering everything I needed for a pleasant stay. What really stood out was the staff: incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. The value was unbelievable—I was amazed to have both a comfortable room and a nice breakfast included at such a great price. In the evenings, the lobby came alive with the sound of Mahjong. At first I overheard it from my room, but soon I found myself charmed by the passion and energy of the elderly gentleman leading the game. It added such a unique cultural touch that made the stay unforgettable. Overall, this hotel was full of character, comfort, and hospitality. I truly enjoyed my time there and would definitely return.

The room was spacious and quiet, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning was powerful. Located at the entrance of Jingming Valley, the setting is beautiful, with a walking path along the river. Morning and evening strolls offer breathtaking views of the mountains, which are even more beautiful during the flood season. It's close to Sanzhe Waterfall, and there's a scenic bus stop right in front of the attraction, connecting you to Lingyan, Lingfeng, and Xianglingtou in just one or two stops. I personally prefer this quiet location. The breakfast was nutritious and wholesome, meeting my needs perfectly, making it more reassuring than dining out. The host even picked me up on a hot day, which was very appreciated. They also provided detailed information about the scenic area, which was very helpful for my independent travels. My three-day stay was wonderful.

The room is very clean, like going home, the environment is very good, there is a tea room in the lobby on the first floor, very close to the pedestrian street, convenient for foraging, the snorkeling creek fish and dumplings taste really good. Yesterday, the earthquake-powered car was lying in the nest. The temporary change of the bus was three hours late to Yandang. The big bags were not convenient. The boss was very enthusiastic to help contact the driver and recommend the tour route. He picked two classic attractions to complete the punch card.
