Plus, there's a swimming pool for kids to enjoy. There aren't many dining options nearby; you'll need to drive about 7km to the nearby Pingyuan Ancient Town for food. We went to Zhijin Ancient City for a 'laoguo' (hot pot), and there's also a Temple of Wealth to explore. It's a decent choice for a stopover on the way to Zhijin Cave.

We are a family traveling together, and we love the parent-child room we booked. The ethnic-style room is more distinctive.
