Service: The owner was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, offering free pick-up and drop-off at the pier. Environment: The view from the hotel is unbeatable, and the location is superb, right in the heart of Gouqi Shengshan. It's incredibly convenient for visiting all the attractions, and you can walk to the town in six or seven minutes, saving a lot on transportation costs. Facilities: The room facilities are simple, clean, and very refreshing. The bed was extremely comfortable. Hygiene: The hygiene was excellent. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. I originally booked for one night, but I enjoyed the environment so much that I extended my stay for another night. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance.

After visiting Mount Putuo, I stayed at this hotel in Zhujiajian, and it was quite unique! The minibar items were complimentary, and the auntie even brought milk and fruit.

The homestay is near the pier, five minutes away. You have to take a staircase to go up and down the stairs. The luggage can be transported in an iron box, which is very convenient. We loved the customer service. Due to gale warning, we arrived a day early. The hotel got a shuttle service to and from Ferry/airport. We arrived late and the weather wasn't the greatest, but the owner were willing to drive us to get food and offer to pickup. After a long day of rushing from one island to another, we much needed a foot massage. Due to the bad weather, the owner was so nice to offer to drive us to a massage parlor and pick us up after. This is some excellent service you don't see often. The hotel doesn't have elevator, but it's not really an issue for us. The rooms were clean and neat. I could see the temple from my room. This place is in a community, but not far from alot of places. It's walking distance to rent a moped, If you could ride a moped, I 100% recommend it. You could use Wechat/Alipay to rent it. We rent it to ride everywhere. It's very safe. I would definitely book with them again and recommend this place to stay if you are planning to visit the island.

Every year during the off-season, I spend a few days in Putuo, and I've stayed at several hotels on the island. Xilai Zhizhu Hangshe is definitely one of the best. The location is excellent, the facilities are great, the hygiene is satisfactory, and the service is also very good. Besides the high room rate, there's hardly anything to fault. Especially the Yuanzhi Yuanwei restaurant downstairs – it was a pleasant surprise! I used to avoid 'influencer' spots, but after eating there twice, I was very impressed. No pre-made dishes, fresh ingredients, good flavor, and great value for money. I'll definitely be staying here again every year.

The location is very good, right on the reef cliff, with a wide view, very suitable for going there alone. The rooms have their own characteristics, but overall they are very clean and tidy. I changed several rooms for some reasons and was very satisfied. The service was very good. I was worried that it would be inconvenient to go to the town, but the hotel took the initiative to ask if I wanted to go to the town. It was very considerate. I will definitely come again next time I have the chance!

Service by the guy who picked us up from the airport is excellent. 10/10!!! Our luggage was damaged during the flight, he called someone to help us repair it. We were short on time for the ferry sailing to Mt Putuo due the weather conditions, that day sailings will be cancelled, (we got to chat in the van when he picked us up from the airport), he said we can just leave the luggages at the front desk and then hurriedly sent us to the port, good thing we made it. That's superb customer service!!! He didn't even want to get a tip, eventually we gave him some dried mango packs from the Philippines. The front desk guy though is a different story, he was super slow, did not know how to handle checking in of foreign passport holders I think. He has our passports and had to ask us our birthdays!! It was also difficult for him to understand the visa dates (expiry and issue dates), and he kept on asking when we arrived, it is just there stamped opposite the visa page, we just actually arrived that day, this is our first hotel. Anyway, free pick up from the airport is best and free sending to the port and then lastly also to the bus station. Great service.

Struck gold with this find for our trip! The staff were all incredibly thoughtful and proactive, even upgrading our room type. The room itself was spacious and didn't feel cramped. The hygiene was on point, and the soundproofing was excellent, so no worries about noisy kids. It's also very close to the ferry terminal. The whole family was very happy with our stay.

The accommodation was very comfortable and close to the beach. I would definitely choose this place again if I come back. Getting around is also very convenient; they have cars and electric bikes for rent. There's a food street nearby. The young man in the white shirt at the front desk was super nice and attentive.
