1. This hotel is actually a homestay. You can check in by yourself. On the day of check-in, you will see a letter with your name at the door, and there is a key inside. The location is very good, just on the slopes of Portree overlooking the whole port. Parking is on the side of the road opposite the B&B. There are 7 parking spaces, but they are first come, first served, and there are usually spaces available.
2. There are many restaurants nearby, but if it is a holiday or weekend, many restaurants need to be booked in advance. A little farther away, there is a Chinese restaurant Panda that specializes in take away, which is actually quite affordable. The Chinese restaurant next to the homestay is average.
3. For sky island tourism, if you only live in one place, Portree is the best place.
