GGuest UserExcellent host Mr. Najeeb. Spacious rooms and modern bathroom with tub. You can access the dining area and the rain deck.
The property is approx. 3-4 km from the beach. Many good restaurants are accessible if you have a vehicle. Parking is adequate.
Just don't miss the morning south indian breakfast.
NNipa.SmithPlace was peaceful, clean and comfortable. The location was great, near the beach and restaurants, with a bus to Alappay at the end of the road. Breakfast was fine.
Communications were a bit lacking. We asked if they did laundry, they said yes but we couldn't seem to actually get it done. Breakfast time was hit and miss.
There was a surveillance camera on a pillar two meters away pointing at our balcony, which seemed a bit weird.
To be honest we wouldn't stay there again, but that was just our experience.
NNevrilFantastic experience. Fabulous food and modestly priced, friendly staff. Rooms and exterior of the property, although great, could be so much better with a coat of paint and minor plumbing issues resolved in addition to removing stains from the outdoor cushions. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Great location. We also hired the houseboat and that was the highlight of our trip. Food provided was fit for a king and we had our own personal chef with 3 other people waiting on us! A must do for all guests.
TTraveling TanThe Upper Deck Houseboat in Alleppey offers an exceptional experience for those looking to explore the serene backwaters of Kerala. The staff onboard exemplify attentiveness, ensuring that every need of their guests is met with a smile and timely service. The views from the houseboat are nothing short of spectacular, providing a panoramic vista of the tranquil waters and lush greenery that make the region famous. The room accommodations strike a perfect balance between comfort and authenticity, allowing guests to relax fully in a setting that is both cozy and reflective of the local culture. Overall, the Upper Deck Houseboat experience is highly recommendable for anyone visiting Kerala's backwaters, promising an unforgettable journey through one of India's most picturesque landscapes
TTraveling TanI recently stayed at Time Square Hotel and had a mostly enjoyable experience. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. They were attentive and went out of their way to ensure my comfort and convenience throughout my stay.
The room itself was lovely – clean, spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable, offering a wonderful retreat after a day of exploring the city. It was evident that the hotel takes great pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Breakfast at the hotel was reasonable, with a decent selection of items that catered to different tastes. While it wasn't the most extensive buffet I've encountered, the quality of the food was good, and it provided a solid start to the day.
However, my stay wasn't without its issues. The most persistent problem was the constant cold calls from the hotel's spa. Receiving these calls almost daily became quite bothersome. It's something the hotel management might want to reconsider or at least provide guests with the option to opt out of such communications.
Additionally, there was an unfortunate incident with one of the staff members who berated me for not informing them in advance that I would be missing the buffet breakfast on one occasion. This abruptness was surprising and not in line with the otherwise excellent service standard set by the rest of the team.
In summary, my stay at Time Square Hotel was delightful on many fronts, with commendable staff, lovely accommodations, and reasonable dining options. However, the spa's marketing tactics and the isolated incident with a staff member did mar the overall experience slightly. I hope the hotel takes this feedback into consideration to ensure an even more pleasant and seamless experience for future guests
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in 5-10 minute walk from the beach.
The beach is very comfortable for swimming.
The hotel is really very quite, there are really no noisy places around.
It is possible to have lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant.
So it is a nice quite place for a few days for the sea and relax.
SSergeiOkrA nice, affordable hotel to stay one day on the way somewhere. Oriented mainly local. No alcohol, a pool of only 1.2 meters depth in which locals are bathed for some reason in clothes (man in t-shirts, women swimming not seen). The restaurant is also targeted at locals, but thank you very much the cook who agreed to fire the calmars just on grill, without local sauces.
