Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Ryokan Minawa, un lieu paisible et authentique au cœur de la nature du mont Aso. Le cadre est superbe, entre montagnes et verdure, et les bains onsen privés sont vraiment relaxants. Le personnel est très accueillant et attentionné, et les repas servis sont délicieux et joliment présentés. Une expérience japonaise traditionnelle que nous recommandons vivement ! Seuls petits bémols : une légère odeur d’humidité dans la chambre, et le vin le moins cher à la carte un peu trop onéreux à notre goût. Egalement pour y accèder, après plusieurs changements de train, il faut marcher une bonne quizaine de minutes depuis la gare (si pas de voiture). Malgré cela, un endroit magnifique pour se ressourcer et profiter pleinement de la région d’Aso.

Is this spa hotel well equipped? The room facilities are very thoughtful and in place, there is a private hot spring in the room, which is very comfortable. The staff is cordial and hospitable. They took the initiative to introduce the surrounding environment, and there was a row of people relaxing and feeding the ducks for free, which was really interesting. The breakfast was delicious and rich. The staff was very considerate and knew that my grandma didn't eat fish, so they replaced her breakfast with fried chicken. I will stay in this hot spring hotel next time.

A cozy ryokan with fabulous view of the waterfall nearby! Fresh air within the area. Private onsen and yukata for choices available. Set breakfast are nice.

The room named ”grass sound” was stayed. As the name suggests, in a Japanese-style room surrounded by tranquility and signs of nature, I felt my heart unwind from the moment I opened the door. The room is equipped with an open-air bath, and until 20 o'clock at night, there is also an ice cream service in addition to free alcohol drinks. Not only coffee and tea, but also warm soup, and I was gently swallowed by the cold season. The beauty of the starry sky looked up from the room at night was breathtaking. The quiet and clear brilliance that can be felt because there is little artificial light has become an unforgettable memory. The rooms are clean up to corner 々, the amenities are carefully arranged, and you can feel the delicate care everywhere. The staff were warm and kind from beginning to end and I was able to spend very comfortable during my stay. It is an inn that makes you want to visit again.

Located in South Asu, there are hot springs to soak in. When the weather is good, you can overlook the entire Asu volcano. It is quite beautiful. The room is quite good. The western-style room upstairs is much smaller! A good place with pleasant scenery! There is also a Taiwanese employee who can speak fluent Chinese and is very enthusiastic about introducing local attractions and food!

The lodge is close to the mount aso with a handful of cozy rooms. The host is kind and friendly. They serve well curated dinner and breakfast in japanese western style. It has been a nice stay.
