Very Good
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and didn't feel cramped at all. Having a private onsen right outside the door with lake views was amazing. The public bath was particularly great; all the toiletries were Pola, and it was very clean. The hotel wasn't crowded, so it was very quiet. The only downside was the dinner from the two-meals-per-night plan. It was really greasy and not very tasty. You could tell the chef put a lot of effort into trying to make common ingredients delicious, but there were far too many dairy flavors, which made it quite sickly. The staff were all very friendly and polite, helping with sending our ski gear and carrying luggage. Definitely a good choice for a vacation.
AAnonymous UserFirst, my apologies to the hotel! Their service was excellent. I didn't see anyone in the bathing area when I entered, so I took some photos. I wanted to share these with anyone considering staying here, so they could see the environment in detail.
The hotel is directly opposite Mount Yotei, offering fantastic views. The room came equipped with bath towels, hand towels, bathrobes, and a razor. Before entering the hot spring pool, you'll need to bring your toiletries and room key. You can place your belongings in a basket before entering the hot spring.
A hot spring tax of 300 JPY is collected before check-in.
The washing machines are free to use, but laundry detergent is not provided. You'll need to buy it outside or bring your own.
The room shows some signs of age, which makes it perfect for nostalgic enthusiasts! It has both air conditioning and a radiator. The view from the window is absolutely beautiful, making it a great spot to sit by the bed and relax.
Overall, it's pretty good.
DDzulhaidyThe hostel does not have a shared kitchen but only a fridge and a microwave. Only 2 shower booth for the whole hostel but they have a sauna and a bath for sauna user. The bed are okay, the room was quite okay and clean. Its near to the lake and have a free parking beside the building.
GGuest UserWhat a fantastic stay! I initially chose this place because I wanted to experience Lake Toya's beauty on a budget, and I was genuinely impressed. While its location isn't as central as some of the more popular hotels, Lake Toya itself is huge, offering unique views from every angle. The traditional Japanese-style tatami room was incredibly spacious – a rare comfortable stay during my Hokkaido trip. The owner was also very kind. I had booked a dinner and breakfast plan for two people, but when they realized I was alone, they doubled down on my dinner portion! The variety was great, and the food was delicious – I ate until I was completely satisfied. Plus, since it's not one of the super popular hotels, it wasn't too crowded. I practically had the hot springs (including the outdoor one!) all to myself in the evening. After my soak, I bought a couple of beers, and enjoying them while watching the snowy scenery brought such a sense of peace. I even went for another dip before checking out in the morning, feeling completely refreshed as I concluded my Lake Toya trip.
AAnonymous UserThe host does not speak English and Chinese. He loves cleanliness. He stayed alone and didn't meet. I saw the note printed on the door. The instructions were very clear. Just go to the room table and get the key. Remember to change your shoes upstairs and lift the stairs. You can't wear shoes when you enter the room. After check-in, I have to call the host and send a small gift, thank you. The bathroom door is not very flexible, but it doesn't matter. The host gave the Wanshige soup coupon. It is enough to pay 500 yen. The soup is very good. There is no need to wash it at the host. Experienced the joy of making your bed and staying at a Japanese homestay! (Tips for Chinese tourists, the homeowner emphasizes that garbage should be sorted, if not, he will bring it to 711 and lose it). In short, I am quite satisfied! Also supplemented the knowledge of tatami. The front desk is on the left door, check in to see if there is your name on several doors. In addition, it is recommended that the gray kerosene heater on the right hand be collected, and the new white one in the corner is fine, otherwise you will really smell the kerosene, and it also wrote a reminder for ventilation at least 2 times in an hour. The white is the new one. There is no problem. In short, a very good homestay experience, thank you host.
AAnonymous UserThis cabin offers a fantastic, peaceful vibe completely surrounded by nature. While the location is a bit remote and far from the main tracks, the quality of the facilities made our stay very comfortable. The only real downside was the heavy presence of bugs after dark, so you definitely need to come prepared for that. Overall, a wonderful nature retreat if you don't mind a secluded drive and some local wildlife.
AAnonymous Userdo not try to check in at night, might not be able to find the house. if you book via trip.com rmb to contact the house owner to get password beforehand as trip.com will not send it to you
张张申贤Four beds, two doubles. The bedding is softer and harder. Very close to the lake, I feel happy to get up in the morning and run a walk. Far from the city, it takes half an hour to drive, all kinds of appliances in the house are complete, beautifully ate a hot pot, washed clothes and dried.
SSeptemberpjThe facilities are a little aged, but that is to be expected in a small town further away from the main city.
The room was well heated during winter, and the room itself was clean. The toilet however, had a terrible stench. It was reflected to the staff but there was nothing they could do about it.
On the bright side, the stench went away after turning on the ventilator for about 10 minutes.
The location is perfect for walking over to the lake and to convenience stores nearby, and the onsen was very good.
