I had a pleasant stay at Iconic Marjorie Hotel during my business trip. The hotel offers a modern and comfortable environment that’s perfect for both work and relaxation. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a comfortable bed and a good workspace. The location is convenient, making it easy to travel to business meetings and nearby attractions. The staff were professional, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any requests. Breakfast offered a good variety, and the overall facilities were well maintained. I would definitely recommend Iconic Marjorie Hotel to fellow business travelers looking for a comfortable, convenient, and value-for-money stay in Penang.

The hotel is a bit old, and the air conditioning in the bedroom was so noisy it made it hard to get a good night's sleep. However, there are lots of food stalls nearby, and it's very close to Queensbay Mall, which is a plus. I mainly want to commend Raymon (the young man with glasses) at the front desk. He went out of his way to help me, a foreigner, when I didn't have enough cash for a food delivery, and even asked if I needed cutlery. I'm very grateful for his help! Because of him, I'd still trust this hotel for my next business trip.

Overall, the stay was quite pleasant, and the owner was very responsive. The view from the balcony was excellent. However, there are several issues I would like to highlight regarding my stay. Pros: There are several kopitiams nearby, and the food was quite delicious, such as Sri Nibong Cafe, Wo Lai Yeh Cafe, and Dhoby Ghaut Cafe. Cons: On the first night, I found a small cockroach hiding near the bed headboard. On the second day and again on the day of check-out, I encountered a rove beetle, which is considered a harmful insect as its toxin can cause skin irritation upon contact with human skin. I also noticed that the dustbin inside the toilet had not been fully cleared, as there was still rubbish left behind by the previous guest. Please ensure that hygiene standards and pest control measures are properly maintained for future guests. In addition, the water dispenser did not provide cold water and only had hot and warm water available, which was quite inconvenient.

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was also clean and large. The private pool in the room was clean, as was the toilet and the large, clean bathtub. It was a great stay for families. My room didn't have any Charlie ants. The only downside was the breakfast, which had a limited time slot – only an hour – so it felt rushed to get food. I would definitely repeat my stay.

The driver was punctual and friendly, making the journey from the airport to the hotel very smooth. I didn't have to worry about transportation or getting lost at all. This service is truly thoughtful, especially for first-time visitors to the city. The hotel's hygiene was also quite impressive. Whether it was the lobby, elevators, or inside the rooms, everything was meticulously cleaned, and the air was fresh with no unpleasant odors. The bed in the room was soft and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and tidy, and all the towels and amenities were well-stocked, making for a very reassuring stay. The daily cleaning service was also excellent; the staff would proactively clean and replenish daily necessities. The location was also fantastic. The hotel is situated in a very convenient area with many restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby. You can easily find food or daily essentials within a short walk. Whether you want to try local specialties or just grab a quick meal, it's incredibly easy. Moreover, the hotel is not far from shopping malls and public transportation, making it convenient for taking a taxi or public bus.

Very clean and bright. The location is also good. It's just a shame that not enough mineral water was provided for a 3-day, 2-night stay for three people – only two small bottles for the whole duration! 😂😂😂 But overall, it was very good. 👍👍👍👍

Near to airprot. But no eatery nearby. Room is clean. No TV. No toiletries. Just shower foam. Quiet

The route to the hotel is a bit strange, but overall it looks good. But check the accommodation before coming.
