Wanaka Hotels with Parking

Comfortable stay, conveniently near town centre. Amenities are great, includes air fryer, electric pan for cooking, heater. Toilet is clean too. Highly recommend!

Very good, the environment is also great, the only pity is that because the itinerary is tight, I can't feel better.

Reached a day late to check in as there was road closure due to the heavy snow at Lindis pass. Called the Motel and Mark our host, was very kind and assured us that the booking will be held on (which was supposedly 3 days 2 night). Mark was also very kind to fetch us from the bus drop off which was downhill as it was quite late and dark around 730pm. The motel is located uphill of a 10-15mins walk to the nearest restaurants and eatery near the lake. The room was cosy and enough for 3 person. Would definitely come back to Wanaka and stay with them for a longer period.

This is a highly recommended guesthouse/hotel. Check-in is self-service. It's a cozy villa with a small park outside the living room and a farm nearby. The scenery is beautiful. The guesthouse is clean and tidy, with a Nordic style, giving it a homey feel.

Haka House is a national chain in New Zealand. You can park for free on the street outside. The bedding is good and comfortable to sleep in. It's a shame that the king room has two beds pushed together, so it's easy to slip into the gap in the middle, which is a bit inconvenient. It's close to Real Gun and the Lonely Tree, and Red Super is also nearby. The kitchen is decent, and the dining area is very warm with a fireplace. The decor is cozy, and the staff are patient.

The hotel is about 30 minutes' walk from the town center, which is a bit far. It is not very convenient to eat and buy things without driving. There is only one bathroom for three bedrooms. The quilt is not covered with a quilt cover, but wrapped with two layers of sheets. I think it is very unhygienic because it is easy to sleep directly on the quilt when sleeping. Although other hotels also do this, I used a regular quilt cover in the hotel in Queenstown. Moreover, the quilt of one bed may be carelessly wrong, and it was actually wrapped with a mattress cover, which made it impossible to sleep. But because we didn't use that bed, it didn't affect us. The service staff was very friendly, but this hotel is mainly for people who drive RVs, and the service staff will go off work after 8pm. The room is quite large and the facilities are also OK.

The accommodation in Alpine Motel is comfortable for 4 of us. However, the kitchen amenities are not complete. Adding on a colander, kitchen paper, aluminium foil would be helpful. No proper knives for cutting meats but when we asked from the manager, Bridgette, she immediately understood our requirements & passed 1 over. Thanks to Bridgette & Rosey who replaced 1 of our electric bed heater that was not working. Appreciate their quick response & excellent service. 👍 The location of this motel is very near to New World supermarket, Puzzling World, Wanaka Lake, Three Parks etc. highly recommended for all who visits Wanaka.

The room was spacious and very clean, with a small kitchenette and a fridge. The bathroom was also quite large. We were on the ground floor, and outside there was a big yard with a table and chairs where we could sit, sunbathe, and have tea. It's not far from the city center, and the price, which was a little over 700 RMB, was super value for money. Just one thing: when I booked through Ctrip, the deposit deducted was a bit over 729 RMB, which converted to a little over 181 New Zealand Dollars. However, when I actually paid for the room with my credit card at the hotel, it was charged a bit over 185 NZD, which was about 3 NZD more. This extra charge might have been a service fee, so it's something to be aware of when booking in the future – paying with a credit card at the hotel might incur extra fees.

The location is first-rate, the parking is convenient, and the boss is good. If you are late, you will put the key in the mailbox at the door and leave a note on the door.

This independent studio room within the RV park is quite spacious, and while the soundproofing isn't great, it offers excellent value for money! The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary utensils, including salt and pepper, so you can easily cook your own dinner. It has a private toilet and shower, but only soap is provided, so you'll need to bring your own toiletries. The bed is quite comfortable. We visited in mid-May, and it was very cold, but there was an electric heater and two electric blankets, although one of them wasn't working. There are very few power outlets. You can park your car right in front of the unit. There's a laundry room in another nearby area, costing 6 NZD per wash and 6 NZD for 60 minutes of drying. There's also a communal kitchen. The location is right in the city center, with many restaurants nearby. It's very close to Wanaka Tree and the lake, both within walking distance.
