Amazing
CCallum TOverall a disappointing stay with Crimson. It started off bad and really never improved sadly. Our flight into Caticlan was delayed 5 hours, arriving at 19:30. I was in communication with Crimson throughout the delay updating them on our progress and estimated arrival time. They had warned me that they don’t organise transfers after 8pm. However, upon arrival they had left us to transit to the hotel via a third party provider. This provider was fine, and did their job, but it was a transfer that involved stopping at 3 other hotels - very much not the private 5 star experience we had been promised, taking 1 hour and a half. The fact they did not wait until 8pm, when other resorts were prepared and waiting, was a big disappointment. The transfer was eventually provided for free after our experience - which to be honest is the bare minimum. It’s insane I even had to pay for the transfer considering most 5 star hotels would provide this for free. Whilst the rooms were fine, the service was extremely disappointing throughout. Check-in took ages, and for some reason there is no aircon in anywhere outside the restaurants and rooms, so we were stuck sweating after an 8 hour journey whilst waiting the 30 minutes to check in. Additionally, every single request we made was either ignored or took ages. I had requested decorations in the room to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, but received nothing. I managed to get things organised whilst there, but after requesting matches to light a candle, these never arrived. Add on the fact we would have to request water multiple times before any showed up and it was all just very frustrating. We had booked a sea view room, but were unable to fully enjoy it as it was located directly in front of the infinity pool, with guests able to see directly into the privacy of our bedroom due to the lack of any noticeable tinting on the windows. The rooms were also not soundproofed, and we had to wake up early every day to the sounds of screaming children using the pool in front of our room. No amenities were on offer - no access to water bottles without requesting or paying, no access to coffee without paying, no welcome or departure drinks, no free water on the beach (which is seriously just dangerous). Crimson certainly has a 5 star beach and sea. The access to the beach is superb and the sand and sea were typically excellent, but it’s not as if Crimson has control over these things. In fact despite the environmental fee, I regularly saw some litter in the sea and on the beach. It felt very budget in the way they treat you. There are shuttles to the centre but these run almost every 3 hours and are often packed, offered on a first come first serve basis. Every little thing is charged too. For a check out at 12pm instead of 11am, it’s 2000PHP. There’s no way to charge anything to rooms to pay upon check out (like every other hotel) if you do not have a credit card. Debit cards are no good for the deposit apparently. We just stayed at Piece Lio in El Nido, which was far far far superior. It’s a real shame because Crimson does not do service to a terrific sea and stunning location. It may be the most modern 5 star hotel on the island but honestly just pay the extra and go to the Shangri-La. It’s almost as if they knew how bad it was. We weren’t even asked how our stay was upon checking out, as if they were dreading the answer. It felt like an American diner leaving, where they just wanted us out the room as quickly as possible to make space for their next cash cow. We even arrived at the airport 3 hours early for a domestic flight for some reason.

GGuest UserI highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a peaceful retreat. You'll enjoy a restful sleep, and the friendly service team will ensure a pleasant stay. I savored the delectable cuisine from the Filipino kitchen, which offered a wonderful experience of indulging in mouth-watering dishes at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The flavors were a true representation of Filipino home cooking, bringing warmth and comfort to every meal. The rooms are perfect and clean. Have a wonderful stay at Secret Garden Hotel.

Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in nice beach, white sand, an incredible spot, however not properly maintained. The access is bad, the water feature at the entry long stairs is not working and water seems to be stoped for a long time. It seems not very crowded with guests even on ***** New year holiday and only one restaurant running. The pool bar was closed. Missing one of our bookings for a shuttle, encountering a huge cockroach near the bed, being told that the room is not ready on check in and after 10 mins it's actually ready and made us walk all the way back to reception when the room was just near where we were didn't leave us with a good impression of the service. Staff needs to be more attentive not only saying ”good morning sir” but actually carrying for what are the guests needs. Hotel staff needs more training.

CChen PangilinanSobrang cool ng staff, very accommodating specially Ms. Rachel ba yun haha. Mejo malayo dito ha, pero may free shuttle naman sila i shared the schedule for your reference. May Free spa din and free breakfast na tlgang masusulit niyo. Masarap lalo na ung pancake. The place is quiet and calm lalo na sa mga mahilig mag solo at mag gawa ng journal like me. I have a very good quiet time with the Lord. May pa welcome drinks din sila na tlgang na refresh ako nung dumating ako and they allowed me to check in early without me paying extra. Nag bbrown out din kaya wag mangamba, ganun tlga pag isla 😊 Thank you po sa inyo. God bless sa business 😌🥰🫶

GGuest UserThe reception can be added on WhatsApp and they’re very accommodating and nice. They offer water sport and activities at the reception too. I got the best private boat sailing for reasonable price as well as island hopping. The garden villa is surrounded by plants and green. Very beautiful but a bit exposed to the people-passing by. The sea is viewed from the side window not the big one. Three options for breakfast. Very simple but nice. Unlimited coffee and tea. The only downside for me, the curtains are not blackout. They’re also short for the windows so the light comes in in the morning. 15 minutes walk to downtown.

GGuest UserThe panoramic suite we stayed in had a large room and living room. The most eye-catching thing was that you could see the sea view while lying on the bed. The balcony was very large, about 8 meters long and 2 meters wide. It was very beautiful to lie on the balcony and look at the beach and the starry sky. The color of the sea was rich, gradually changing from white to dark blue, blending with the blue of the sky. The tropical 🌴 trees made the beach full of charm. It was a good place for leisure and vacation, especially suitable for three or four people, and it was 5 minutes away from the beach.

AAnna IugovaAll was ok , but really far from all the activities. They have transfer, but not many slots. Ppl are nice there. But behind the fridge it was too dirty. Breakfast I also didn’t like , but it is my personal opinion. And they r pet friendly, that is very good. Also massage is good.

GGuest UserPlace was clean, staff were accommodating, and room was comfortable. Nothing fancy but you are allowed to use the pool in La Carmela De Boracay. If you are a budget traveller and you just need a place to sleep then stroll around Boracay, this is a recommended place to book. Reception was nice, they even let us check in early since there was an available room. Security deposit of 1k upon checkin which will be returned on checkout.

GGuest UserWe booked two rooms and the place was great. Our weekend at taj guesthouse was unforgettable. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk even allow us to early check in even our time to check in is 2 pm we checked in at 12pm🌊. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom felt like a mini spa. We also loved the bar—perfect for watching the sunset. The location made it easy to explore nearby attractions on foot.
