Henann Prime Beach Resort
9.4 (358 reviews)

Henann Prime Beach Resort ★★★★★

📍 Station 1, Balabag, Boracay Island

"The hotel's interior and rooms were spotless, but the pool wasn't quite as pristine as I've experienced elsewhere, like Crystal Sands. What really surprised me, though, was that I always travel with my own filtered shower head, and this is the first hotel in Southeast Asia where the filter remained completely clean and unchanged! The hotel's location is fantastic. The restaurant opens right onto White Beach, and this particular stretch has very little green algae. You can walk quite a way into the sea before encountering any, so the photos were all taken right outside the hotel. Staying here, there's no need to visit Puka Beach or venture out for island hopping. While it's a bit of a distance from the main dining areas on the island, transportation is super affordable; a trike ride is only 15-20 pesos per person, which is a steal. Plus, if you walk about 300 meters southeast from the hotel's roadside entrance, there's an amazing barbecue restaurant that's also very reasonably priced. Most of the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, I unfortunately experienced some blatant discrimination during dinner at the hotel. One particular staff member was incredibly deferential towards white guests. When we sat down and tried to get his attention, he indicated he needed to serve the white table first. Later, when we were ready to pay, another white table called him over, and he immediately left us waiting to finish serving them before returning to process our bill. There were no 'sorry's, no 'hello's, no basic courtesies whatsoever. I want to clarify that we are always polite guests; we tipped the luggage handlers, housekeeping, and massage ladies, so we're not ones to nitpick. This particular staff member wore a different uniform than the others – black – so I'm not sure if he was a supervisor or something else. From check-in to check-out, all the other staff were incredibly friendly, and we reciprocated, but he was the sole exception."

Calypso Beach and Dive Resort
9.2 (203 reviews)

Calypso Beach and Dive Resort ★★★

📍 Manggayad, Station 2, White Beach Path, Manoc - Manoc, Boracay Island

"A nice beachfront hotel located in an area that isn't as hectic as some other sections of White Beach, really enjoyed the fact that I could relax in the beach just a few footsteps away from the hotel. Rooms were clean and well maintained, though for some amenities such as hair dryer will be needed to be requested for as they aren't supplied in room. Overall a great stay, will be back here if in boracay again"

"We stayed at this hotel for nine days. On the plus side, I'd like to highlight the cleanliness, modern room, and attentive staff. As for the downsides, there are strong winds in that part of the coast. White Witch Beach is about a 15-minute walk, and there aren't many cafes around. Even though there's a beach right opposite the hotel, it's impossible to swim there due to the rocky shore and constant kitesurfing activity."

"This is a perfect spot by the beach and is quiet compared to the other stations in the island . The staffs are very accommodating starting from reservations , arrival till departure . The only let down was that our room was unclean with visible molds in the bathroom tiles and ceiling , so as the room walls , door , terrace and terrace table . The staffs were very helpful and moved us to another room but it’s the same . My friends and I worked in hospitality industry too ( 5 stars ) and we recommend that the resort should invest in good housekeeping and so as the facility maintenance aspect of the property ."

"The hotel is located at station number 3. Ultimately, this turned out to be a good decision; it's quieter at this station, with fewer people walking in the evening. The hotel has a super-convenient location; simply wow! You can have breakfast, drink a beer, or a cocktail with a stunning view. The entrance to this part of the beach is quite steep, so swimming is good; you don't have to wade through shallow water for long. We encountered seaweed at the end of February, but that doesn't apply to the hotel review. The hotel staff is super helpful, everything was great, and they speak English. Breakfast is à la carte and delicious. There's no buffet, of course, as the hotel is small, so it's impractical. We had a room with a private terrace and a sea view. It's the best of its kind. The sea view is definitely a plus. You can sit and drink and eat on your terrace, just admiring the beautiful view. The huge downside to this room is that you won't have peace and quiet 18 out of 24 hours a day. The bar, above the room, plays music, people are relaxing, and the cook is preparing food—you can hear it all. Also, the toilet in this particular room wasn't working properly. Otherwise, everything was great. I definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms are small, but there are rooms further from the water; if you want peace and quiet, choose them. Beach towels are provided separately. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and body lotion are also provided. The bar is good, the cocktails are delicious, and the prices are no higher than average for the beach. There are happy hours where you can get two cocktails for the price of one (highlighted with smiley faces on the menu). The food seemed more expensive; we went to the buffet for dinner at a chain hotel."

The pool was great we had the pool access it was cold and clean. The hotel was beachfront so we love the beach at station 1 by far the best beach. Breakfast buffet was amazing with amazing options. The hotel staff were always smiling and friendly. We've been staying here everytime we go to boracay. We got the room for a cheaper price so it was really amazing."

Canyon Hotels & Resorts Boracay ★★★★
"Decent for the price, but needs some adjustments Overall, you get what you paid for. It’s a fair choice for a budget-friendly stay, but there are a few things to note: *Air Conditioning: The AC wasn’t cold enough, and the airflow didn't quite reach the bed area. It was a bit uncomfortable, especially during the day. *Cleanliness: I noticed several moths (gamo-gamo) inside the room. I’m not sure where they were coming from, but it’s something housekeeping should look into. *Location: It is a bit far from the town center, but still manageable if you don't mind walking. On the plus side, the beach is very accessible—only about a 5-minute walk away. *Breakfast: I hope they can improve their breakfast service. There weren't many options to choose from, so it felt quite limited. It's an okay place if you're looking to save money and stay near the coast, but improving the AC and the breakfast variety would make it much better."
