Great
LLung TsangThe hotel is located in walking distance from Songkhla old town/night market, and refurbished out of an ancient if not heritage building. It showcases the beauty of Thai Chinese interior design: every single display item brings back lots of nostalgia from the good old rosy days. The only drawback is the sound insulation as I could hear the convo from my fellow visitors next doors during my stay and also the sounds from outside (cat meows and roosters singing). Luckily i had my ear plugs so still managed to sleep. It seems the rooms on ground floor are nicer than those at second floor.
Ppandy1130Service: If there are still rooms, travelers can check in early
Facilities: There is a bed, refrigerator, air conditioner, and three plugs, but it is far from the bed and inconvenient
Everything is new
But the location is remote and there is nothing to eat nearby
JjanjilatepGreat location, and the staff were friendly and helpful with good recommendations. However, the room itself was a bit old, I could constantly hear the refrigerator, and it wasn't soundproof.
กกุหลาบไร้ใบThe room is clean.
The TV doesn't turn on. The toilet seat is not very good. It's old and looks like it has mold. But... they tried to clean it.
When I read the details, it seemed like there were amenities such as a hair dryer. But... there wasn't.
The location is good, close to the city.
ววินวินSome rooms have poor air conditioning. There is a lot of parking space, it is convenient. It is near the beach but the beach is not very beautiful. You have to walk through the pine forest for 2/300 meters. Breakfast is porridge or breakfast set. The room is quiet and private.
MMF.WongI had a wonderful overall experience at Oriental Villa ( minibar is free). The highlight of the stay was definitely the cottage's proximity to a massive lake, which offers a truly magnificent view. A great perk for in-house guests is the free kayak rental. Each villa has its own reserved parking. It was incredible to lie by the pool at night and watch the stars. The breakfast sent to villa.
One thing to note: the property is very integrated with nature. If you have a phobia of lizards or cats, this might not be the best fit for you. However, if you're just visiting for the day, you can still enjoy the lake; kayaking is available for outside guests at a reasonable rate of 120 baht per hour.
SS.AEKThis 3-star hotel in the heart of Songkhla is a popular choice for budget-conscious travelers and those who enjoy a relaxed pace, thanks to its 'great location + good value for money.' However, there are both pros and cons to be aware of before booking.

AAnonymous UserThe staff provided excellent service and spoke very politely—kudos to them! The location is fantastic. However, the room was a bit cramped. The pillowcases had multiple holes, and what made me particularly unhappy was the towel. Is it really a towel, or am I mistaken? Why were all four edges so frayed and tattered, and yet it was still given to a guest? Why would such a towel be offered for customer use? Thank you very much.
GGuest UserVery friendly front desk service. I arrived much earlier and thought I would have to wait before checking in, but the hotel quickly prepared a room for me. The bathroom was separate and spacious. Although it's not very close to the beach, it's easy to get there in a straight line. There are many local restaurants nearby.
GGuest UserOverall, it was okay, but the room didn't have bedside outlets. The hotel provided an extension cord, but personally, I felt the cord was too old and unsafe to use, so I didn't. Another thing was the mirror; it wouldn't close, maybe it was broken or I just didn't have the strength. When taking the elevator down, it got stuck for a moment before working again. I was really scared then, and it was my first time experiencing something like that, haha! The staff provided good service, and there was always a security guard present.
