Sherman Inn is a fun and comfortable place to stay. Created in a former school building, aspects of that nostalgic aesthetic remain. Each sleeping room was once a classroom, so they are huge! And each room is dedicated to a US President who once visited Ogdensburg. The decor in the rooms reflects the historical era of that President. Best of all, the Sherman Inn blends the charm and congeniality of the past, such as lavishly decorated rooms and hearty, delicious breakfasts, with all the modern conveniences: separate baths and a mini-fridge in each room, free Wi-Fi, etc. There are fun extras like a shared full kitchen upstairs, and a parlor, library and playroom (the old school gymnasium) downstairs. Owners Donna and Jim are a delight. Highly recommend!
