This is a wonderful hotel. It’s new, and everything inside is so thoughtfully designed. We celebrated my birthday here with the family. The hotel gave me a small toy and beautifully decorated the bed. The water park is a bit small, but there are plenty of pools.
The view and location are amazing — we didn’t even want to leave the hotel. Everything was great, we were absolutely delighted 😝

Akara Hotel Pattaya is incredible! Perfect location, close to terminal 21 and 8 min walk to the beach. The Stella suite is gorgeous, I could stay here forever lol. Beautiful views in the suite end of course at the roof top pool. Breakfast has many options to choose from and so does the buffet in the evening. Maybe room service could be improved with vegetarian options and vegan and add a larger gym...I highly recommend you stay here! I would come back for sure if back in Pattaya.

This place is great if you’re on a self-driving trip. It’s quiet and relaxing, though there’s no convenience store nearby.
The property has two buildings. I stayed in the back one, but I’m not sure which is newer. Overall, the building is quite nice. I did run into a problem during check-in when they couldn’t find my booking confirmation, but Trip.com handled it quickly and efficiently—big thumbs up for their customer service.
The room was comfortable and even had a bathtub. However, like many other reviewers mentioned, the bathroom water system is a real downside. The temperature control is poor—you either get scalding hot or very cold water, and the bathtub water never gets hot enough.
Facilities are solid: there are two swimming pools with clean, clear water, plus a gym with good equipment and a sauna.
Breakfast is buffet-style with a decent range, from western breads to Asian stir-fried vegetables. But the drink options are limited. For milk, they only provide regular fresh milk—no alternatives. There’s an egg station and a soup station. I asked for a sunny side up, but the chef said they only make omelets, which was a bit strange. At least the omelet was tasty. Overall, breakfast was just okay—acceptable but not very impressive.
All in all, it’s a nice hotel to relax at for a holiday. Hopefully, they improve the hot water system soon. Definitely a good choice if you’re traveling by car.

I had a day's break in my stay. Upon checking in again, I was informed that my previous check-out hadn't been processed, which caused a slight delay. Despite that, it was just as good as my last visit. I was surprised to find they had a DJ playing at night. However, the excellent soundproofing meant the music didn't bother me at all, thanks to the sealed windows in the room.

Super nice staff and can call us to check in ealier when the room is ready. Amazing water park, with lots of slides. The floats provided in the water park for adults and kids raised the enjoyment. The free activity- aqua dance & pool game are also good!

This hotel offers a pleasant stay with friendly staff and high-quality service. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast with a variety of options amidst impressive ocean views. Spacious ocean-view rooms feature comfortable beds. Hotel pool facilities and beautiful ocean views provided a great opportunity to relax in my last stay few months ago, unfortunately the swimming pool is under renovation during this vacation. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to Terminal 21 shopping mall, making it easy to explore the area.

Good value for money. It's a decent place, within walking distance of the terminal. The pool area is good, featuring kids' slides and plenty of sun loungers. There's a swim-up bar for snacks and drinks. The rooms are spacious, and the balconies are nice, equipped with drying racks. There's plenty of shelving and storage space for your belongings. There's a decent cafe right across the street.
Breakfasts are average; while you can fill up, they're nothing special.
The staff, particularly the woman who checked us in, was awful. We checked in during the evening, and she was immediately unhappy. I had originally requested a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor, but she claimed no such rooms were available, adding, 'If you don't like it, come back tomorrow,' despite our night being pre-paid. Ultimately, we took a room on the first floor and didn't bother to move later, as it actually turned out to be much more convenient. The stairs are steep and high, so elderly guests might find them difficult to climb. We only saw one or two mosquitoes, and on the balcony, there were just red ants, one of which bit me once.
Overall, it's a decent hotel for the price. Would I come back? I'd have to think about it twice.

The hotel facilities are quite new, and the front desk service was excellent. Our room was spotless. The hotel's location is great, especially since it's quite close to the conference venue. However, dining and shopping options in the immediate area aren't very convenient.

Come with kids and elder parents. Book two rooms. Room are spacious with one king bed and one bunk bed. Kids love the bunk bed. The breakfast is good with a lot of varieties. Beach is adjacent to hotel and does not have to walk out from hotel. Will definitely come back again.

Parking was convenient, and the hotel features its own private beach, which meant we didn't have to worry about the cleanliness issues sometimes encountered on public shores. Service was excellent, and the staff's English was clear and easy to understand, making communication effortless. However, there was an unfortunate incident where children were shouting in the corridor, knocking on doors, and ringing doorbells at 3 AM. While this isn't the hotel's fault, it definitely detracted from my overall experience.

GGuest UserVery few evaluations, but this is indeed the most fork hotel I have stayed in Thailand 3 times. The year is very close to the beach, but this beach is generally like, there is no special dry mirror, very close to the Temple of Truth, but if you really want to go, you still have to take a bolt, and it takes about 2 kilometers to walk. The end of the homestay is very good, the facilities are relatively old uncle, the mouth is undesirable is that the water flow in the bathroom is super super small, and the face bath is not changed! The water quality is very poor, breakfast yue! But the grandmother is very good

I was told that the towel was dirty on the way back, but I couldn't get any money because it was attached from the beginning, but I was a little disappointed. The hotel was good! !!

JJiemoxiaobaicaibencaiTwo rooms, a swimming pool, the living room is outside. There is a gas stove for cooking. The staff is very good. The hotel's massage is cheap and can be done in the room. It is very suitable for taking children out and massaging them after the children fall asleep. Turn left and walk a few steps to the big 711. The goods are quite complete, even with hangers. There are also many restaurants nearby. 
The disadvantage is that the hotel is relatively old. It will be a bit noisy at night. Many squirrels dance on the roof. The food placed in the living room outside will be eaten. I bought bread in 711 and wanted to feed the fish the next day, but I fed the squirrels first. The room is close to the roadside, and the motorcycles passing by are very loud. If the sleep quality is poor, be careful. Also, there are more mosquitoes in this kind of villa with a lot of greenery~
Overall, it is still recommended and suitable for parents and children.

The breakfast buffet restaurant is so good with a variety of menu. Only the beach can't walk and play due to the landscape of mud. Have some noisy smell near the beach. The center pool is big and has an area for many people. You can walk to Naklua market nearby to buy fresh seafood and chill chill time at the park.

Actually I liked Naklua area, because it wasn't so crowded.There is a really clean and awesome beach at only 1km. You don't even need to go to the popular Pattaya beach which is crowded. Just go to the ”Wong Amat Beach”. The size of the room is really good. There's a little view of sea from the from rooms. It's not much but still better to have.
I was able to checkin early than 2PM, the room was ready because I arrived early from Bangkok. They also have ample parking and provide beach towels separately. There's a 7 eleven . There are also some good places to eat within walking distance.

Given the very reasonable price point, the amenities are understandably on the simpler side. The pool was great and offered direct sea views. Breakfast was also quite good. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. The location is very convenient, with three 7-Elevens, several small eateries, and massage parlors all within easy reach.

FFeigejiushiwo-xiaofeiThe luckiest choice on my Pattaya trip was booking this guesthouse! Communication was seamless throughout in Chinese, which is so convenient for Chinese tourists! The owner is Chinese and speaks fluent and natural Mandarin, making it incredibly easy to ask questions and communicate our needs without any effort in using gestures. The receptionists also speak Mandarin and are very friendly and patient. They proactively helped us with our luggage upon arrival and provided detailed explanations of the guesthouse's facilities, making us feel incredibly welcome. Even better, they offer 24/7 service. Whether we needed directions in the middle of the night or had any last-minute requests, we received prompt responses, which made us feel completely safe!
The room was even more amazing than expected! It was recently renovated in 2025, with brand-new and exquisite facilities. The space was incredibly spacious, without feeling cramped at all, with plenty of room for luggage and movement. Most importantly, it was spotless and tidy. The sheets and blankets were white and odorless, and the bathroom was dry and impeccable. Every detail showed attention to detail, making our stay incredibly comfortable.
The guesthouse's amenities and service are truly impeccable! The second-floor swimming pool was amazing! The water was crystal clear, and the environment was so relaxing. A dip after sightseeing was the perfect way to unwind. There was also free bottled water on the first floor, so we could stay hydrated anytime – a thoughtful touch. The owner not only proactively recommended must-see attractions in Pattaya but also shared tips on avoiding the crowds and local cuisine, ensuring we didn't miss out on any great spots. Since we had a large group, the owner readily offered to add an extra bed without hesitation, showing genuine care throughout. Even better, they provided a shuttle service, making getting around much easier and saving us the trouble of figuring out routes and hailing taxis.
Overall, the service was excellent, the facilities were complete, the location was convenient, and most importantly, the price was incredibly reasonable – truly excellent value for money! This trip was made even more memorable by this guesthouse. It's perfect for families, groups of friends, or couples. I've already recommended it to all my friends planning a trip to Pattaya, and I'll definitely stay here again next time. Highly recommend it to everyone going to Pattaya!

NNimothy..The staff service is good, but the room is not worth the price paid. The floor is very dirty. The bathroom drain doesn't drain when taking a shower. The shower head has water coming out of the edge and spreading everywhere. The faucet at the sink is shaken so much it almost falls off. When the housekeeper cleans, she should have seen these things and notified the technician to come and fix it, not neglect it like this. The bed is noisy. I don't dare move while sleeping, afraid that the person next to me will wake up.
