We came to Rishikesh primarily to enjoy river rafting. Had an amazing experience of rafting on river Ganga that we pre booked with the property. Body surfing was a unique thrilling experience for all of us. As about the property itself, it is an experiential and activotel retreat made for those looking for adventure, wilderness, peace and pure nature. A very non hotel experience so to say hence it may not be the best choice for someone looking for a conventional five star hotel where you just sleep and eat. It can be a lifelong memorable experience and make you want to keep visiting again and again, as in our case, if you stay more outdoors than indoors. A word of caution though the cars need to be parked on the main road and you need to hike down for about ten minutes to reach the property since its across the river. The very helpful staff and porters from the resort gladly helped us with our bags while coming and after checking out. We were made well aware about all these facts as clearly listed out on their www and also mentioned by their very helpful guest relations ***ager Ms. Rimpy (special thanks to her for assisting in organizing our trip flawlessly). Why we love Aranyam? – for everything. Comfortable clean rooms, awesome food (we took an all meal plan – recommended) and amazing location. Special shoutout to the amazing, kind and friendly team of Aranyam.

Overall very good place to visit. Small mountain river beside this resort makes this place worth. Room size is excellent , food is very good. Can be revisited. Music system is bad part. No good mic. This made our karaoke party less of fun.

We visited this resort in June 2023. It is away from the main Rishikesh city, so it takes a little more time to reach this place. One also has to trek down the hills and cross a bridge over the river to arrive at the destination, but that's the beauty of this resort. Its location, the sweet stream that flows in front, the green trees, gardens, and the beautiful birds around all conjure up to make the experience extremely delightful and serene. The hotel does not have ***y luxurious facilities, yet we had a very comfortable stay there. The food, the staff, and the Hotel in charge were extremely polite and caring toward our needs. The resort also has a lot of fun activities to engage in for both adults and children like pooling, carrom, table tennis, swings attached to the trees, and indoor as well as outdoor games. One can never feel bored here, even if one wishes to do nothing. It also rained during our stay which just added to the heavenly beauty which we experienced here. We spent most of the time at the resort, it was truly worth it. I have been to the main Rishikesh city ***y times, but this place was a 'different Rishikesh' which I witnessed. Being religious, we as a family decided to engage ourselves in 'Ganga Pooja' on one of the days, which was very peaceful and calming. Would like to especially mention that a 'Sundar thali' was arranged for us by the hotel staff for the Pujan. Thank you Aranyam, once again for the warm hospitality and soul-stirring experience. p.s. Aranayam is my all-time favorite destination, its amenities, riverside view, Mouth watering food, and hospitality are fantastic. I don't have enough words but the peace you can have in Araynam is not matchable in any other desitination

It is not common for a hotel to give out description and details be it on their website or through their sales team that honestly tell what they offer. Aranyam is surely an exception. There is no private parking, there is a lot of walk and it is not a five star hotel or a typical business hotel. However where it lacks in terms of amenities or challenges, it excels in services and location. We had an amazing time staying at Aranyam for three days. The staff is super courteous and hospitable to a level which we wouldn’t have experienced in a seven star hotel. From the time of our first interaction with Ms. Mishra at their office who patiently understood our requirements and explained everything starting with the nature of the location, what not to expect and so on; to Mr. Chauhan the resident ***ager who would keep checking on us for our comfort and smallest of requirements; to Devesh and Rahul who would always be available with a smile on their face checking on our comfort, if we liked the food; and Darshan ji who kept us well entertained with his profound knowledge about birds, taking us for hiking and sightseeing all of which we had pre booked with reservations team.

It was an amazing experience and the cuisines are delicious. The environment is too good for the family and the staff is friendly and on their toes at all the time. Lovely experience and will surely return to this beautiful place for the lovely stay

Good room and Hospitality though it kind of lacks the vibe that you look for when you are close to Ganga as the river around this property is a small one with a narrow stream. Overall food was great, rooms were nice and cosy. Good people who were taking care of us but we had real struggle in reaching to this place and felt like it was too much of a struggle to just reach this place and that too for the price that you have paid for this.. Its good to understand from few people who have visited the property before to get the real sense of these Boutique properties.

Stayed in March 2023 with family (including 2 kids). The place is a little run down and quite different from what recent reviews and photos suggest. The staff is helpful and very courteous, but the hotel is very understaffed. The rooms are large and clean. However, the open areas not not well maintained...possibly the effect of having gone through a rough time during the covid lockdown. Very limited facilities apart from the room itself and even those are very worn out. Prices (at least during our stay, which was in high season) are not line with what you would expect for ~14k/night. Nice views from the balcony of the stream that runs right next to the hotel and the stream itself is nice to enjoy wading though.
