Friendly and accommodating staff. Quick 5 minute walk to beautiful uncrowded beach at Asilomar Beach. Fireplace, ceiling fan. Feels like staying in a nice, comfortable cabin.

Cool place tucked away from the traffic and noise. Older property but well maintained and with extra amenities like fireplace in the room. If you're looking for a nice spot in the woods but a couple of blocks from the ocean front road then this is it.

My icebox in #102 sounded like a complaining old guy giving me the 5th Degree. Female maid made a lot of racket slamming stuff. Need a good work desk and counter space. Heater worked well and even had a gas fireplace but some fumes

The location of this inn is fantastic. Walking distance to Asilomar state beach. Beautiful area! Quiet location.
The hotel room was in disrepair. The first night there was no hot water (luke warm). The futon bed in the living area fell apart when you sat on it, I wouldn’t dare let someone sleep on it- the springs were felt through the seat. Wall paper is peeling, the shower curtain is extremely tattered. The electrical outlets were broken (behind nightstand) or didn’t work properly- tv- had to mess with it to get the satellite to work. The trash can outside of our room was overflowing when we arrived Saturday afternoon and wasn’t emptied once before we left Monday.

The reviews on this property were very misleading, fortunately we were able to get a full refund and go somewhere else. The location is great but the rooms are in desperate need of updating and maintenance. The carpet was ripped, fan wouldn't go off, tub worn and the room didn't smell good. There was incense lit in the office and the smell was overpowering. We were offered another room and thankfully we looked at it first before booking, it was no better than the first room we were assigned to when we arrived.

Amazing little inn. Room was clean and nice. Very quiet. Staff was very friendly. Great location by the beach. Everything was great but you guys need a new mattress in room 114. It's totally blown out lol.

So we stayed and there were only 4 other couples in the motel. The room smelled a tad musty but looked clean ish. The tub had a yellow ring around it like it hasn't been cleaned properly. I'm a diabetic so I shouldn't be walking around without shoes but I was and I stepped on carpet staples going into the bed area and going into the bathroom. The ceiling fan shook awful so we couldn't use it. TV didn't turn on but box did. Sheets didn't smell clean, there were red stains on the pillows. And this is not against the hotel at all but our neighbors fought so much, 3+ hrs. Slamming the door, screaming at each other, and we couldnt call anyone since this was from 9pm-12am. We thought about calling the police but we didn't want to cause such a bigger problem. Front office lady was very nice and I would stay again but maybe not that room.
