The room was clean and comfortable, decorated very warmly. You could switch between cool and warm lighting depending on your preference. From the hotel, you could enjoy a beautiful view outside the window, with layers of mountains, misty clouds, and a refreshing feeling – truly a beautiful place. The service from the staff was also excellent; everyone was kind and friendly. If I get the chance to visit Guizhou again, I'll definitely book their guesthouse again. I came to Zhaoxing Dong Village specifically to experience the Dong New Year and immerse myself in its festive atmosphere. The guesthouse is located near the Lituan Drum Tower; it's easy to find using a map, and the main street is just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and tidy, with all necessary toiletries provided. It was very quiet at night, and the landlady was warm and friendly. The Dong New Year parade, the traditional rice-making activity, the long table banquet, the Lusheng (a type of reed pipe instrument) competition, and the bonfire party were all part of the vibrant activities. I experienced the customs and traditions of the Dong people in southeastern Guizhou Province – a truly worthwhile trip. Finally, congratulations to the Lituan team for winning the Lusheng competition!

First, the environment: Overall, the room wasn't large, but it was fully equipped and worth the price. The owner thoughtfully provided disposable face towels, nail clippers, and toiletries that met 5-star hotel standards. Every detail in the room reflected the owner's care and cleanliness. Second, the service: The service was excellent. The owner was quick to address any needs. He mentioned being a volunteer teacher, and throughout the Dong village, you could ask him to help negotiate prices for anything, which was fantastic. Furthermore, the owner knows Traditional Chinese Medicine. If you mention it, he'll even offer a free TCM consultation and bone setting. I was there for a weekend getaway and it was perfect timing. Oh, and the owner also helps with photography! The photos turned out really well. There's a hidden perk: the owner takes a few photos for free to post on social media, and his photo editing skills are quite impressive. Overall, I highly recommend it, especially to young people. The owner is a 95er (born in the 90s), very easy to talk to, and we had plenty to chat about.

Me and my girlfriend got picked up at Congjiang train station which was very convenient. Right from the start the owners of the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The accomodation is located at the back of the village next to a field where they grow rapeseed flowers and rice during the year. For us the location was perfect as it is very peaceful and quiet but simultaneously litterally a few steps away from the beautiful vibrant little village. The room was very spacious and clean with a gorgeous view on the field. The interior is very well matched and has great facilities. There was even a small laundry machine so we could do some laundry ourselves. So far during our travels in China, this stay was the best we had! There is a very stylish and cute coffee/restaurant located on the first floor of the building. This is also where you will have a delicious breakfast and where Ni Li and her sister will greet you with a smile every time you walk by. Ni Li, her husband Tao Mingqing, her sister and brother played a crucial part during our stay as after the first night my wife got very sick due to an infection and barely left the room during our stay. The second night I got foodpoisoning which made the situation even worse. (Not from the hotel!). We ended up extending our stay due to her condition. Luckily Li's English is very good so that helped us a lot in navigating the medical difficulties. We were extremely lucky to be staying with Li and her family as they took care of us like we were their own family. Preparing custom meals and dinner tailored to our needs every single day, preparing us tea, calling the local doctors and translating and taking us to the local hospital back and forth multiple times. We were there during the Qingming festival so no cars were allowed in the village which made it more difficult to reach the hospital. This didn't stop Tao Mingqing as he took us to the local hospital several times on the motorbike, one by one! The last time I even forgot a bag and he even went back to get it for me! He truly is a legend. Fortunately, my recovery was fairly quickly so I had the chance to explore the village a little by myself and spend time with Li and Ming while staying close to the room for my girlfriend. On day 4 my girlfriend's fever was coming down and she improved a little. Li and Ming invited us to have tea with them. Ming showed me his vast collection of tea and made sure to prepare the best tea suitable for our condition. The tea was truly amazing and he ended up filling a big bag with different kinds of teas as a gift for us! And that was not it, to make sure we would never forget them and drink tea mindfully the Chinese way when we're back home, they gave us the tea cups we used traditionally decorated with the blue dragon and phoenix. It was a very stressful situation and when we felt at our most fragile, they were there to take care of us, strangers they just met. This says everything about these wonderful people. Even though the illness of my girlfriend and the rough situation, we think back to our stay with a very warm hearth as our special experience forged a bond we'll never forget. We are incredibly lucky to have met Li and her family. We have said thank you to them 100s of times already, but I can't express enough how grateful I am for this people. Thank you for taking care of us like your family!!! ＜3 If you are unsure about staying here, there is truly no reason why you shouldn't! Whatever the situation, Li and her family will do everything they can to improve your stay. I'm sure you'll have a blast!

The address of the B&B is in Zhongzhai, just a minute’s walk past the Internet celebrity tower P1! There are a lot of food and drinks at the door. Since it is a little far away from the main street, it is very quiet. It is quiet in the bustle. You can have a good sleep at night. The room is also very big. The boss is a super nice sister. I came to stay alone and just in time. I went to her house for steamed sweet potatoes, and for free I got the taro and sweet potatoes from the shop owner’s sister’s house 🍠 When I came back from watching the iron flower in the evening, I happened to meet the shop owner’s sister after finishing her meal, and invited me to eat with her. I tried the local specialty beef soup, hot and sour, delicious! Her dog pudding is so good! Super cute like a doll 🧸The drone fried chicken at night. My sister also helped contact the police and picked up the drone for me. The store is so easy to mess with. I will stay here again next time I come! !

Excellent stay, excellent service, very kind and helpful boss and wife. Location is easy to walk to everywhere. Room and bathroom was spacious, bed comfortable. I stayed 2 nights and slept very well. The boss picked me from and sent me to Congjiang High Speed Railway station. Would highly recommend this place

The location of the hotel is simply great. In the ancient town, very near to the Dong culture exhibition Centre. Very convenient to take the free shuttle that goes up and down the ancient street to visit the 5 drum towers.It was also just a 15 minute walk to the shuttle bus station where we took the shuttle bus to Congjiang train station. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

Pleasantly surprised with the hotel Clean room and luxurious bathroom, felt very new. The hotel design is also quite modern The hotel is located off the main busy streetnso its quiet, but if you want the beautiful buildings on mainstreet was just a skip away. Service was good aswell, though you had to call a number as there was no one at the desk permanently.

Environment: Zhaoxing is now free of charge with ID cards from Guangdong Province. Take the high-speed rail to Congjiang Station, and there is a bus to Zhaoxing next to the bus. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the bus to the B&B. The B&B is in Xiaoxing. On the mountainside, the scenery is really first-class. Hygiene: It's very quiet. It's really comfortable to sleep. When I get up and open the curtains, I see the scenery of the village and feel that all my worries are thrown away. Facilities: The hot and cold water in the room is powerful, the hot water comes quickly, and the air conditioner is also very powerful. Service: Xiage recommended by the boss is well worth a visit.

The service was attentive and it offered great value for money. You can't go wrong choosing this place when traveling to the area; I'll definitely choose it again next time. The front desk lady was gentle and thoughtful; she made check-in efficient and smooth, and even proactively recommended local attractions and patiently answered our travel questions. The attention to detail was really heartwarming. The most delightful surprise at the hotel was the intangible cultural heritage batik handcraft experience. A professional teacher provided hands-on instruction, guiding us from sketching patterns and indigo dyeing to drying the finished product. It was an immersive experience into the charm of traditional craftsmanship, and we could take home our unique handmade creations as a memorable souvenir.
