Excellent location, but the rooms are in serious need of renovation. Breakfast is quite normal. The location is great. In general, the price corresponds to the number of rooms. The dogs in the dining room running between the tables are such a pleasure. People come to the sunbeds from other hotels. Beach towels are provided.

We were with my husband having the best time at Kim hoa. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and pool, beach and the view… ahhh. Extra mention to super friendly and professional staff. We needed dentist one day and asked for a help from the staff. They did take care of everything, they even ordered taxi to drive us to dentist, where the had appointment to us. We were so grateful.

What I like abt the hotel- 1. The location - it’s v central on the island and in the midsts of many nice restaurants and eateries. 2. The people - very polite, very nice and very accommodating. I asked for 3 additional pillows to my room and I can see their bewilderment yet they sent over. 3. Really beach fronting - it’s like u just walk down fr the hotel and it’s the beach already. 4. Friendly house dogs - I like dogs and the house dogs r well trained. They wld stay away fr the restaurant area unless some guests cajoled them over. Kinda nice to hv them welcoming u back everyday. What I dun like (the reason for the 3 star rating) 1. The hotel condition - it is really dated and old. The paint was peeling and the decor is like from 20 yr ago. Some bathroom fixtures were either broken and loose. 2. The breakfast - very simple fare and largely the same over the 5 days that I stayed here. They only varied the noodle with rice noodle and macaroni.

The staff is polite and couteous. The facility location is beautiful in a quiet area. However the building is old and lack maitenance and it would be nice if !they clean the elevator once awhile!

Les chambres pas propres, des moustiques partout dans la chambre, une odeur d’humidité beaucoup trop présente, une literies pas confortables du tout. Les seuls points positifs de l’hôtel sont la piscine, l’accès à la plage et la position de l’hôtel !

I think so other reviews of this place are a little unfair. Don't go in thinking "resort" as it does not have things you'd typically expect when booking a resort holiday. The location is very good. Situated right on the beach, down a quiet laneway. But still close to plenty of restaurants, massage parlours and convenience stores. Kim Hoa's grounds are beautiful! They have staff outside everyday taking good care of their garden and pool area. The pool is a good size and a perfect escape from the heat. You need to sign towels out from reception for use at the pool but that's no problem. We stayed in a garden bungalow. Although there was at least 1 (maybe 2) large group bookings there, the bungalow was away from all the noise. The bungalow itself was okay. Good size room and bathroom. Could use a little bit of work though. There were wires sticking out of the wall beside the bed, window could be opened but it had no flyscreen, so mosquitos would be a problem if you did. The air-conditioning worked but wasn't very powerful, the TV was only analogue channels. There was also somethings that were not provided in the room which I would normally expect; tissues, bars of soap, hooks to hang towels (only a small rack next to the sink which is a bit too small for bath towels). Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Food mostly for Asian tastes but with mostly Asian guests staying there what do you expect? The staff were friendly and the lady at the front desk spoke very good English. Yes, they keep your passports but that's fine, just remember to ask for them back when you check out. Overall I enjoyed my stay here.

Просыпаешься под шум моря и засыпаешь под его успокаивающий шум)) Персонал прекрасный везде!!! И на рецепции,и в ресторане ,и те,кто убирают номера. Улыбчивые,стараются тебе угодить!!!)) В ресторане завтраки были нормальные, несмотря,что это тройка. Фрукты были каждый день 4 х видов. Яйца,омлет, блинчики с медом и вареньем,их супы. На свой вкус можно найти!!) Уборка в номере была прекрасная. Несмотря на то,что это тройка, белье белое и каждый день набор зубных щеток с пастой, шампунь,гель,набор ушных палочек и расческа...каждый день!! Без всяких чаевых...да,и вкусный листовой чай пополняли каждый день. Очень всем советую этот отель!!! Здесь вы получите релакс!!! Здесь вы отдохнёте в полном смысле этого слова!!! Здесь прекрасная атмосфера!!! Здесь работают замечательные ,добрые люди!!! Я с подругой просто в восторге от этого отеля!!! Ким Хоа Резорт Фукок ,я постараюсь вернуться к тебе!!!!

I booked a room for one day before departure, convenient location, there are many cafes, massage parlors, fruit shops nearby, 10 minutes walk to the King Kong supermarket. The beach and pool are good. I took a standard room, in the description the hotel recently renovated, BUT ... The hotel is old, the renovation was carried out by replacing the ceiling, painting the walls and replacing the air conditioner. Everything else is left from the past, Electric sockets are loose, glass shower without a door, once it was broken, and left. Instead of slippers, old cheap rubber slates. The TV shows channels in analogue poor quality, several local programs. The corridor is spartan, with strange furniture, along which during the day workers walk with hands-free radios, talking about the progress of cleaning. There is no sound insulation at all, everything is heard both from the side of the corridor and from the side of the balcony with large gaps. The peculiarity of the standard room is the singing windows. I READ IN REVIEWS about strange noises from windows, but in reality everything is much noisier and funnier. When the wind blows, air passes through the silicone glass seal in the window and a high-frequency hum is emitted. We had a lot of fun this sound of the wind. Singing windows, really loud howls! )) Perhaps other categories of rooms are more worthy, especially rooms with access to the beach. Beautiful landscaped courtyard with a garden, nice swimming pool. Clean beach with a good smooth entry into the water. The breakfasts were disappointing, although it is clear that the staff is trying, but a small selection of budget dishes, designed for the Vietnamese. At check-in, passports are taken as a deposit. In general, you can stay at the hotel, but not cheap standard rooms in the main building will be a big disappointment. Pretty gloomy corridor, walls in the room with holes from old paintings, old wooden doors on the balcony, broken blinds. The bed is relatively clean, almost. A little effort on the part of the owner of the hotel would have raised this place to a higher level, corrected poor-quality repairs, removed construction debris at the end of the courtyard, changed all the sockets, corrected minor flaws in the rooms, of which there are many. Singing windows can be fixed with silicone from the outside over the silicone inserts. Staying in a standard room, a corridor, I associated with the film "The Beach" with DiCaprio. At the beginning of the film, there are shots in the hotel, whoever saw it will understand.

Not impressed with this hotel. I realise it is only a 3 star hotel so we don't expect a lot........BUT....the beach bar is closed and left to rot and is a disgrace. The photos on travel sites and on their website are not accurate at all. When we checked in they gave us the wrong room and moved us out after we had settled in. There were hardly any guests so couldn't see the point in moving us. There was a splatter of blood on one of our room walls, albeit small it was still unnerving. The owner/manager had a family lunch in the restaurant off the foyer/pool area and they got so drunk that they were getting very aggressive and screaming and abusing each other. There were only 4 pool loungers for a large hotel. Our room supplies weren't replenished each day. Not a lot of good things to say about it really. Stay somewhere else.
