Kata Place Hotel Reviews

Not a bad hotel away from the road, the hotel staff looks a bit tired but nevertheless helpful in all matters. Rooms are large, clean and with a good view of the Big Buddha (we had in our room). There are some remarks about the audibility in the rooms, sometimes it was loud to hear the neighbors. From the sea it is 10 minutes walk to the hotel, there is a store near the hotel, many cafes, establishments with massage and other. The hotel has a pool but didn't use it overall ok but expected better for the price

Location is a 20min walking distance from the beach. Restaurants in near area. Room was spacious and clean. The only reason i will never come back is reception. It happens my girlfriend is Thai. And whenever we come back to hotel, the receptionists (4 different people) always wanted i pay 500 baht for extra person staying in room (like short term guests, basically called my gf a ****** everytime we came to hotel…). They didnt even know which room we are staying, just demanding payment immediately. If they maybe put all this energy to explain where the pool is and how to get to it, and to be up-to-dare what is happening in their hotel i think would be more beneficial for them and guests.

The room was perfectly clean. The room had a large refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, and a kettle. glasses, mugs and bags of coffee on the table, there is somewhere to have tea) The shower has good water pressure. We had a room on the second floor, nothing disturbed our sleep, it was quiet all around. To the sea 15-25 minutes to the kata or kata noi. There is a grocery store nearby and massages are about 5 minutes away.

The hotel is very tired It's not near the beach, you have to walk quite a bit.

The place is quiet, about 20 minutes from the beach, nothing else I liked, there is always water on the floor in the toilet

Clean and hygienic, exactly the same as the business picture. There were no mosquitoes or unclean sheets. The wifi works and is not slow. There is a water heater for bathing and the water is not small. Shampoo and shower gel are provided, but there is no toothbrush. There is a 711 and mini C convenience store nearby. but! ! It's at least a 30-minute walk from the beach and is highly not recommended for backpackers. I was so exhausted when I walked up with my bag on my back...and there were very few people on this uphill road after dark, so it would be a bit scary if you were traveling alone. It is recommended that if you go to Kata Beach to live close to the beach, it is convenient for fun and there are many shops around.

Very good location, close to everything and at the same time on a quiet street. Spacious room, no separation from the shower, which is annoying as the bathroom gets all wet. Pleasant and polite staff, ok breakfast. Swimming pool closes early, at 6pm. I recommend it and would go back.

Nice hotel, clean and friendly staff. Added bonus was the roof pool.
