Beyond Patong
8.8 (1,567 reviews)

Beyond Patong ★★★★

📍 8 Sawatdirak Rd, Pa Tong, Kathu District, Kathu, Phuket

"The only downside of my Phuket and Chiang Mai trip. Seriously, don't book this place, folks! The locals in Phuket are lovely, and the scenery is beautiful. But definitely avoid this hotel in the Patong area. The entire room was incredibly damp and had a strong musty smell. I got sick after just one night, and the replacement room wasn't much better. There are construction sites and dust everywhere outside. The air conditioning hasn't been cleaned in probably a decade. The surrounding roads are under constant repair all day long, making it very dusty. And the street vendors are constantly loud and soliciting."

YouDee Hotel
8.4 (615 reviews)

YouDee Hotel ★★★★

📍 200 Pee Rd, 224 Thanon Ratuthit Songroipi Rd Patong Beach Kathu District, Kathu, Phuket

"The hotel facilities are excellent, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. Staying at U Dee Hotel is definitely a must-consider option when visiting Phuket. The rooftop pool is absolutely beautiful. If you're like us and don't speak Thai or English, they even offer a special car service to the airport for a fee, which is more convenient than taking a taxi."

9.0 (803 reviews)

Nai Yang Beach Resort and Spa ★★★★

📍 65/23-24, Nai Yang Beach Road Sakhu, Thalang, Phuket

"Just had our first stay at a 4-star hotel in Thailand and honestly… this might be the most worth-it hotel we’ve ever booked! 🇹🇭✨ We stayed as a couple for one night at Naiyang Beach Resort & Spa and the experience totally exceeded our expectations. The hotel has a perfect combination of modern vibes and nature — surrounded by lush greenery, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful resort-style landscaping 🌴 The room was surprisingly spacious and we even got a FREE room upgrade 😍 Plus, it came with a smart TV, making the stay even more comfortable. Best part? The beach is only about a 3-minute walk away! Perfect location for anyone who loves relaxing beach vibes without staying directly in the crowded area 🌊 For us, this was our first time staying at a hotel in Thailand that felt THIS worth it, even for just one night. And the craziest part… we got it for a jackpot price of only RM100!! 🔥 Definitely left us excited and already planning to repeat again next time — especially with the kids 👨👩👧👦❤️"

Phuket Orchid Resort and Spa
8.5 (1,788 reviews)

Phuket Orchid Resort and Spa ★★★★

📍 34 Luang Phor Chuan Rd, Mueang Phuket, Phuket

"I had emailed beforehand requesting a high-floor connecting room. When I checked in before 12 PM on the day of arrival, they gave me a connecting room on the 4th floor of Building 1, located in the middle. The room and bed were both very spacious. I asked the front desk if I could get a room in Building 4, but they said my booking was for a pool view room, which wouldn't be noisy. In reality, Building 1 faces the street, and there was a lot of motorcycle and music noise at night. The rooms on the pool view side were better, but if you're a light sleeper, you'd still hear it. Earplugs solved the problem for me. Breakfast was not crowded when I went around 8 AM. The restaurant closer to the front desk had a wider variety of options. Dining nearby is very convenient; the 7-Eleven was very busy, and one day they even ran out of ice cups. If you walk out towards the mountain, there's another 7-Eleven that's less crowded. The restaurant to the right of the hotel's main entrance was delicious, with generous portions and beautiful presentation."

Dara Hotel ★★★★
"Not really recommending for staying here. Cant control the air cond, either is too cold or off the air cond. Same goes for the water temperature for bath, it will suddenly go too hot or not warm. I have booked 2 rooms with 4 queen beds for family of 5 (4 adults 1kids) and they charged me extra 500baht per night as my kids is over 3 years old. Total extra 2000bath paid for 4 nights. First day arrived when check in one of the room is having issue with not able to open the door even with staff help. Waited for almost half hour and end up change another room for us. But for this chaos they provided us a free drinking voucher which was blue pea water as apologies. At the 3rd day of the stay the water supply suddenly stop without notice and my dad was bathing half way and he have to go down to another building to continue his bath. They also spray something one the blanket and it smells very strong making me very uncomfortable to use the blanket. It show walking distance to Centre Phuket but not advised to do so as there is main road with lots of cars. End up we took grab to Centre Phuket. Also no 7-11 nearby. Will not revisit this hotel for stay."

"The shower water was inconsistent, alternating between hot and cold, and the temperature couldn't be adjusted. It was also extremely hot, making it easy to get scalded. The furniture is primarily made of wood, and our room had termites, with some visible wood erosion. **Key Features** * **Location:** Situated in the heart of Patong Beach, within walking distance of the beach and Bangla Road nightlife. * **Design:** Interior decor features ocean wave elements. * **Rooms:** 161 clean and comfortable rooms and suites, offering bathrobes, slippers, and Wi-Fi. * **Services:** * **Facilities:** Rooftop pool, gym, bar. --- ⭐ **Guest Reviews** * **Pros:** * Excellent staff service. * Rooms were more spacious than expected and well-equipped. * Convenient location, ideal for those who enjoy nightlife. * Reasonable price, great value for money. * **Potential Cons:** * Located in the lively Patong area, so there might be noise at night. * Not suitable for guests seeking a quiet getaway."

"Location of hotel is great. Walking distance to many places such as Jung Ceylon, Bangladesh Street and the beach. Love e service staff too who had suggestions on the food and also allowed me quickly to change room due to bug issues. Also love the amenities - swimming pool at rooftop with a bar, allows me to enjoy the sun but away from the crowd. It also has bathtub, for me to soak 😃 However, suggest the hotel should go thru a face-lift, some parts look rundown. Overall, price paid is worth the stay... would go back to this hotel when I m back in Phuket."

"I had a wonderful stay here and was very impressed with the overall experience. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming, and always greeted us with a smile. 😊 The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a surprisingly large bathroom. The atmosphere was also peaceful and quiet, making it a great place to relax. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day, and all the essential amenities were provided. The breakfast was delicious. Although the selection was not very large, the quality was good, and considering the price of the stay, it was definitely great value for money. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and was really impressed with the service, cleanliness, comfort, and peaceful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay."

"The hotel is a bit old, but clean and cozy. It has two water slides that operate from 10 AM to 6 PM. The breakfast buffet is very diverse with delicious food, including fruits, vegetables, pastries, porridges, soups, and cereals – you definitely won't go hungry! Our room was large, with a balcony and a mountain view. Housekeeping and towel changes were daily, and they provide four bottles of drinking water. The pool is warm and clean; there's a large one with the slides and a smaller separate pool with kids' activities."
