HOMA Phuket Town ★★★★

📍 3, 41 Soi Samkong 1, Ratsada, Mueang Phuket, Phuket

"The environment is beautiful, and though the hotel is small, it's very well-designed. The room facilities are all new, and the kitchenware is clean and complete. The infinity pool offers stunning views, perfect for a relaxing vacation, and it's especially great for digital nomads. There's also a library-like co-working space on the first floor. The hotel breakfast is à la carte and offers excellent value for money."

"Due to the war between Iran and Israel, my flight to Phuket was canceled and I was unable to arrive. I asked the hotel to postpone my stay by a month and sent confirmation of my flight cancellation. The hotel did not accept my request. Too bad. I will not recommend this hotel to my friends."

Blue Carina Hotel(Central Phuket)
8.5 (1,020 reviews)

Blue Carina Hotel(Central Phuket) ★★★★

📍 61, Soi Bang Yai, Mueang Phuket, Phuket

"Trip.com, seriously, how can you charge over 400 for a room like this and call it 4-star? The hotel is located on the edge of what looks like a slum. There's basically no ambiance to speak of, and no elevator! I had to haul two 40-pound suitcases up to the third floor. No breakfast either. I thought it looked decent from the photos, but when I walked into the room with my child, I was completely shocked. It's straight out of a Chinese village guesthouse from the 90s. The sheets were damp, and the hotel photos are drastically different from what's advertised on Trip.com."

Panwaburi Beachfront Resort
8.8 (1,240 reviews)

Panwaburi Beachfront Resort ★★★★★

📍 8/2 Moo.8, Ao-Yon Khaokhad Road, T.Wichit, Mueang, Mueang Phuket, Phuket

"Well, as has been said before, this is an Instagram hotel, great for pretty photos. Check-ins and check-outs are non-stop, with a constant change of faces. But the photos really do turn out beautiful. We had a room with pool access, which was very small. It was a tight squeeze for two people. There was nowhere to even put our belongings, let alone dry them. There's one small rail near the bathroom. No closets. The floor was constantly wet because of the pool access. Plus, the shower door didn't close properly, so water splashed everywhere. The sink was in the middle of the room. Basically, water everywhere! I removed my daughter from the photo, hence the AI caption. Oh, and by the way, their restaurant is quite good and, most importantly, affordable. We later checked into another hotel nearby but kept coming back to their restaurant."

Maya Phuket Airport Hotel
8.6 (457 reviews)

Maya Phuket Airport Hotel ★★★★

📍 126 Soi Naiyang 16, Thalang, Phuket

"As a transitional hotel, it's alright, but what really annoyed me was how yellow and dirty the comforter was. The bathroom and everything else were just so-so. But then again, the price was cheap, so I guess it's fine..."

Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort Hotels in Phuket

Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort

"On the first day, the guy at the front desk kept trying to get me to pay extra. I did have three additional children with me, all under 12. He insisted the hotel policy was based on year of birth, not month, so it would count as 1 adult + 2 children. I explained we had just come from a boat trip and asked if we could check in first, and I’d pay for breakfast tomorrow if needed. The front desk said it was a 'headcount' fee, not a breakfast fee. They put us in rooms in two different buildings. I have to say, Trip.com was reliable and ended up covering the extra headcount fee. The next day, two of my kids developed fevers. Susan and Zai at the hotel front desk were very caring and offered to call a doctor to the room if needed. It really highlights the importance of having overseas travel insurance, though we didn't end up needing a doctor. The kids had caught a chill the first night but recovered after taking some medicine and resting all day. Trip.com came through for us. The night staff at the hotel were not friendly at all, but the daytime front desk staff were very reliable and friendly. The room had a great sea view, but there wasn't a circular sofa in the room as I had hoped."

"Pros: The service was quite enthusiastic and responsive. The rooms were spacious with 180-degree views, and the bedding was comfortable. Also, since they are all stand-alone villas with only neighbors above and below, soundproofing and privacy are better. The staggered layout allows for distant sea views from the balconies, and there are many pools to enjoy water activities within the hotel. Breakfast was decent, quite simple, with good fruit, but the juices were not freshly squeezed, which was a bit disappointing. Cons: The gym equipment was limited, and the hotel is quite far from the beach and town. Overall, it's good value for money, nothing exceptional but left a positive impression. It's not over-the-top excellent though. This hotel is suitable for those looking for a quiet retreat nestled on a hillside or for people who plan to go sightseeing far away during the day. Tourists who prefer convenience to living areas or want to spend time at the beach should consider other options."

The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the service is warm and attentive. With convenient dining and shopping nearby, it offers excellent value for money and is the perfect choice for an immersive getaway!"

"Nothing great about this hotel. The gym is pretty standard but the breakfast is certainly below par. Location is close to Central Phuket around 200m but if you want to go to Phuket old town and beaches will require a car."

"Just had our first stay at a 4-star hotel in Thailand and honestly… this might be the most worth-it hotel we’ve ever booked! 🇹🇭✨ We stayed as a couple for one night at Naiyang Beach Resort & Spa and the experience totally exceeded our expectations. The hotel has a perfect combination of modern vibes and nature — surrounded by lush greenery, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful resort-style landscaping 🌴 The room was surprisingly spacious and we even got a FREE room upgrade 😍 Plus, it came with a smart TV, making the stay even more comfortable. Best part? The beach is only about a 3-minute walk away! Perfect location for anyone who loves relaxing beach vibes without staying directly in the crowded area 🌊 For us, this was our first time staying at a hotel in Thailand that felt THIS worth it, even for just one night. And the craziest part… we got it for a jackpot price of only RM100!! 🔥 Definitely left us excited and already planning to repeat again next time — especially with the kids 👨👩👧👦❤️"

"AVOID!!!!!!! It was the wirst experience I ever had in a hotel, our room was so moldy that I felt it in my throat after 30mim in the room. I told the staff about it they didn’t care and just sprayed something in the room. My friend had to sleep outside because of the health risk of the mold, so we needed a second blanket (we had one before) and they tried to charge me 2000 baht for that. RUDE!!!!!! Also we had animals in the room, worst experience EVER!!!!"

"The hotel staff were incredibly kind, and we had a very comfortable stay. The pool was absolutely amazing and created some unforgettable memories. I would definitely want to stay here again if I visit Phuket. The only slight downside is the inconvenient access from the airport, but other than that, everything was perfect, a solid 10/10."

Maya Phuket Airport Hotel ★★★★
"Maya Hotel is located in the sub-district Sahku of Thalang District, Thailand. The hotel should highlight Sakhu on its address so that new foreign guests who have never entered Phuket can complete the Thailand digital e-Arrival Card correctly. Phuket Airport is also located in the same area of Sakhu, where Sakhu Provincial Police Station and Tourist Police are located at the International Terminal and Maya Hotel is of a two to three minutes' walk from the International Terminal. I choose to stay at Maya Hotel, Phuket, early this time because I want to capture shots of aircraft flying in the sky across the Andaman Sea during daytime and I am happy to stay in the same room to shoot photos of aircraft in flight. As part of the hotel's measures to reduce costs, complimentary breakfast takes place at the ground floor restaurant rather at the Restaurant in Building A but the chef is not found behind the egg station cooking other kinds of eggs. There are less variety of breakfast this time but price of food served in the ground floor restaurant during lunch and dinner are acceptable. Toiletries are kept inside a bundled object with the words "FOR ROOM USE ONLY". Bicycles can be borrowed for free to explore the nearby beaches. Until I find a better place to stay and depending on the right budget, I will stay in Maya Hotel again."
