Hotels in Phuket Town, Jamestown

Good location, but the room lacks soundproofing. The balcony is not private, and at night, people were sitting outside drinking and playing music. When we stepped out to check, we were shocked to see someone sitting right in front of our room, with no curtains for privacy. From 7:30 to 9:00 AM, there was constant noise from housekeepers dragging chairs, walking loudly, and chatting, making it impossible to sleep in. It was a stay that left us feeling unrested and far from relaxing.

This hotel is very good location if u have your own transportation. Although not located at touristic place but is recommended to stay if u want more quiet environments.Strategic location also, we can travelled to nearby attractions easily.The staff here are attentive and friendly.They provide excellent service. We stayed at cottage room. Room are spacious and cleans. Completed with basic amenities. Breakfast buffets is good . Will stay again when come to Phuket.

I was taking the hotels and cheaper. The bed linen was clean. But in this hotel all the bed linen was dirty. The smell of course was clean, but there were old spots in the room. Just look at the photo with what spot on the blanket I was bed-lined. Gee. Towels were all with old spots too. The refrigerator didn't work. Of the pluses I can say. The staff is very polite. In two steps of the cafe where you can eat

Superb location to be living in. 5 mins from Chillva Market, which is cheaper than most other markets, 10mins to Central Festival and Main City. Away from the buzz of the city, this is quieter and still easy to go around. The ice cream stall in the building is one of the must go to in Phuket Old Town. The breakfast place is under renovation. Should be quite soon! Aircon is powerful, rooms are superbly clean. Bad side, the soundproofing is not good. Quite loud when neighbours walk around. The bed is also very hard.

Very nice stay here! Staffs are friendly, Location is 5 minutes walk to the old Town And opposite the hotel is a small mall ,but have food court , and souvenir shop ,not expensive Not so noisy at night ,even though you can still here the music from the bar nearby, but it didn't bother me too much If I come again, I still wanna stay here

The hotel is location is pretty nice & convenient. There is multiple restaurants and facilities near by; 7/11, Clothing Shop & Pharmacy… The reception desk was very helpful and we were able to check in earlier than the usual time, which was very helpful for us, the check out was at 12 which is also quite exceptional for Puckett as many other hotels have check outs between 10am to 11am. Regarding Hotel Facilities, there is two swimming pools available but we didn’t have time to use it and room service. The room itself was big enough but slightly damaged and outdated. Especially the bathroom… The small balcony was also not very convenient. During the night you can unfortunately hear also the people walking outside, in the corridors. It was quite noisy, but this is mostly because a lot of people are uneducated and have zero idea of respect. Overall, a pretty decent place price/quality & location. Ideal for couples and families and friends expecting a place where is comfortable and quiet.

My girlfriend was doing her makeup when she suddenly fell because a furniture leg broke. We checked it, and the assembly for that leg was clearly different from the others. The hotel really needs to check their furniture assembly and make sure it's done properly and up to standard, not just using random screws. It would be very dangerous if an elderly person were to fall like that. Also, the room wasn't very soundproof, and the refrigerator was noisy. Otherwise, everything else was fine. The hotel did a good job with its theme.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights from early February 2025. Had a corner room on the 4th storey which was the highest floor. Good views of the mountains and swimming pool from the hotel room window. The room was big and the beds were comfortable. Linen provided was clean. The bathroom especially the walk in shower was big. Shower and shampoo creams (from wall attached dispensers) were provided. The reception staff service was good. There was a hotel restaurant that served very good food. Big C, Central Festival and Andamanda Phuket Water park are all within walking distances from the hotel.

Great little hotel, perfect location next to Sunday night markets. Only drawback is no parking and can only stop for 2 minutes outside to load/unload luggage etc. Breakfast was fine, eggs cooked to order, toast, coffee, fruit etc, no Thai food but still good for a days sightseeing. Small pool and is quite cool in temperature as it doesn’t get much sun, but nice when you’ve been out in 35c !! Would definitely stay again if the cost was still reasonable. Staff lovely too.
