The place was amazing in all aspects, I wish i had more time to stay, because I enjoyed every minute spent at Ascot Inn, the bedroom was clean, beds were clean and comfortable, the food at the dinner was amazing the hospitality was very good, I really enjoy my night spent at Ascot Inn, location of the place is amazing

From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease—this place is truly a home away from home. Tucked away in a peaceful setting, it offers a tranquil haven that instantly melts away stress. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for relaxation. The accommodation itself is exceptionally clean and remarkably comfortable. Standout features included the friendliness of all the staff, generator ensuring continuous electricity supply despite load shedding / power cuts and clean drinkable bore hole water access. The meals were super scrumptious - fresh, flavourful, and home cooked with care. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Whether you’re looking to unwind, recharge, or simply enjoy a peaceful escape, this gem delivers on every front.

I am a once a year visitor to South Africa from the US and have been staying at the Ascot Inn for many years. It feels like home to me. The lovely comfortable rooms, beautiful gardens and friendly and efficient staff all contribute towards making my stays perfect. I sometimes travel alone and I feel so welcomed and safe from the moment I enter the secure gates to the property. The restaurant has a friendly pub like atmosphere with excellent service and a wide array of drinks and a wonderful varied menu prepared by a true chef. Love, love, love the Ascot Inn.

Amazing BnB! Exactly as advertised would recommend a stay. Fully equipped rooms and rolling gardens. Very interesting place with all rooms fashioned out of old horse stables. Friendly staff and amazing bar/lapa area. Very central in Maritzburg with many things to do in the area.
