Ziqi Wenge Hotel (Pingyao Muming)

This store is a renovation of an old house that existed in the late Qing Dynasty. There is a plaque written by Emperor Guangxu with the words "始令戴德" in the courtyard. There are cradle chairs in the courtyard and steps to go up to the roof to enjoy the scenery. After checking in, we were given a map of the ancient city and a dining coupon for Hongwuji Kangganji Restaurant. Kangganji is a good restaurant. When the lights are on at night, the courtyard is very atmospheric, and they even have girls who travel and take photos in ancient costumes. Clothes, many young ladies take pictures here, the location is easy to find, very close to the ancient city Gongji Gate, 400 meters away Room view: It is the popular new Chinese style, very elegant and clean, very quiet, a combination of ancient and modern styles Wifi: The Wifi signal of the loft room in Qingzhayunshang (named "Manlou" in the courtyard) is poor. There is a little signal on the first floor. The second floor can basically only use data. It was too cold, maybe because the loft was one floor higher, or maybe because I went there at an unlucky time. The boss said the floor heating had been turned off in the morning. When I checked in in the afternoon, the temperature on the room display was only 11°C. Later in the afternoon, the floor heating rose a little, but I still felt very cold. The boss had a good service attitude and responded quickly to my call and sent a small solar local heater, but unfortunately, the circuit breaker tripped as soon as the power was increased. The air conditioner on the second floor is of level three energy consumption. It may be that the homestay line has power limitations. Even if you turn it to the highest temperature to boil water in the kettle, the circuit breaker will trip. In addition, the lighting on the second floor is a bit dim and not suitable for work or study. The slope of the roof makes it easy to hit your head on the lower side of the bed. My partner and I joked that this store should be called "Zi Qi Leng Ge". I had to wear a down jacket to wash and sleep indoors. In order to fall asleep, I had to place an order for hot water bottles, heat packs, small electric blankets, and knee pads to be delivered quickly. I sincerely hope that the boss can add an electric blanket or something to the bed in this room in the future.

It is in the ancient city, very convenient, the environment is good, the boss's service attitude is also very good, the old room has a kang bed, which is very unique! Highly recommended!

I was stunned when I went in. I didn't expect it to be such an antique house. It is said that it used to be a landlord's home. ▲The little parrot is my pet. I brought it with me when I drove here. The boss also has two caged budgies. ▲The room is not big, but there is a big kang bed. You can see the yard through the window. However, it is small but fully equipped and very clean. You will feel very comfortable as soon as you enter. The toilet is actually automatic. ▲My daily routine here is also affected. I feel sleepy after 10 o'clock every night, and wake up at 7 o'clock in the morning when the sunlight shines in. I take a walk in the yard. I haven't felt this way for a long time. ▲There is also a rooftop in the yard. You can go up and see the roofs of the surrounding area. It is very pleasant to do some morning exercises. ▲They also sell vinegar here (I got a bottle when I checked out) and travel photography (unfortunately I don’t have time to get one). ▲This homestay is carefully selected by me. It is reasonably priced (the price will increase during festivals) and the most beautiful. If I come to Pingyao next time, I will still want to stay here!

The boss is very enthusiastic and the service is thoughtful. The courtyard has a 200-year history. It is worth experiencing. The point is that the night view is really great. I will come again.
