"1. The product page says "A** shower gel", but in reality it is just a bar of unknown soap. 2. The toilet won’t flush. 3. The sink is filled with toothpaste left by the last guest. 4. There is no drinking water and no tissues. 5. The mouthwash cup is dirty. 6. There is no heating, only an air conditioner that is not very hot. 7. There is no hot water for showering. The hot water lasts less than five minutes and is extremely cold. 8. The room is very shabby, like something left over from the 1970s and 1980s."

"The hotel is very pictoresque in the ancient Pingyao city. They organized also transfer from/to railway station, very comfortable. Breakfast buffet (Chinese) was good. I think the best of the hotel is the location and room “ancient” style. I would recommend it for sure!"

"The stay was amazing!! The service impecable, location superb and lovely room! The Inn is located on a very central road close to the gate to the ancient city. Even though its very central, the rooms are in a back garden so its very peacefull and quiet. The room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable! They even have a small terrace with view of the skyline! But the best part was the service! The person working at the teception supported us with anything we asked, it felt like a piece of authentic chinese hospitality! I can only recommend this beautiful Inn to anyone visiting Pingyao!"

Rooms were cleaned every day & towels changed out. Loved staying within the ancient city at this location to be within walking distance to everything."

"Clean and bright room. Staff are very helpful especially Mr 胡春 and front desk assistant/suoervisor. Booked a 7am high speed train and need to leave hotel at 6am. Mr 胡春and team member prepared steam bun for us to bring along as we do not have time for the breakfast. Breakfast is good. Decent breakfast choices. Love it when they have self operated laundry/dryer machine located at 4th floor. Laundry aunty doesn’t mind helping to delivery the washed and dried laundry back to room. Good service, good attitude, willing to help!"

"The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the service was outstanding – incredibly warm and attentive to every detail. They truly went above and beyond to accommodate any request. They even offered pick-up and drop-off service to Pingyao Ancient City High-speed Rail Station, which was very thoughtful and welcoming. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from the North Gate, making it super convenient. It's also easy to get to Pingyao Theater and the South Gate of Pingyao Ancient City. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. If you're coming to Pingyao, this is the place to stay! They even extended our check-out to 3 PM, so there was no rush at all, and they provided breakfast for the kids. A truly satisfying experience. We'll definitely be back next time!"
