"The best decision we made for our family trip to Pingyao was booking this guesthouse. The owner was incredibly welcoming; they contacted us the day before our arrival to provide parking information and patiently answered all our questions. They even helped us with our luggage both at check-in and check-out, which was really thoughtful. We also got a discount on tickets for 'See Pingyao' by booking through them, and thanks to the owner, we even got a better discount at Hongwuji restaurant than what was offered on Dianping. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the ancient city, making it super convenient for dining and sightseeing. What truly impressed us were the well-equipped rooms. Watching a movie together on the projector TV in the evening was such a cozy experience. The bedding was so comfortable; it was the best night's sleep we had during our entire Shanxi trip. Unfortunately, our time was too short. Pingyao really deserves a two-night stay, and we'll definitely book here again next time!"

"This stay was, arguably, one of the best hotel experiences I've had to date. **Cleanliness:** I can honestly say the cleanliness was excellent. Each guest had their own room in the courtyard, and everything was clean, with freshly replaced disposable slippers and toothbrushes provided – a solid five stars. **Environment:** No AC noise, very quiet, and the traditional courtyard setting was unique. The room wasn't huge but felt incredibly cozy. **Service:** Oh, I really want to talk about the service, haha! 😂 The accommodation fee wasn't high, but I was so surprised that they offered pick-up and drop-off service. A taxi ride there and back would have easily cost over 50 yuan, so I saved a good 50 yuan over these few days. Then, when I arrived, the owner gave me a big map and told me how to explore, where to go, what not to buy, and to avoid illegal taxis, etc. He was genuinely a kind and honest person. He even gave me a sachet, and the breakfast the next day was also good. **Overall Experience:** To sum up my entire stay, I really loved it. It had that cozy 'Northeastern heated bed' vibe, plus floor heating, a warm attitude, and excellent service. They even gave me two extra bottles of water. As a traveler, I usually don't review this thoroughly, but this truly was a hotel with warmth and character."

"The hotel is conveniently located, about a kilometer from Pingyao Ancient City. The environment is pretty good, and the staff enthusiastically introduced nearby attractions. There are also many local specialty restaurants around. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay."

"The service at Pingyao Huiguan was excellent, especially their airport shuttle. When they picked us up, I expected to wait, but it was just the two of us, so we left right away. For the departure, there were five people from two families, and although one business van would have sufficed, the hotel sent two vehicles to take us to the airport."

"We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was large, spotless clean and nicely decorated. The courtyard at night looked phenomenal, although I'm unsure if the lanterns stay up year long or if this was only for new years. The staff was very friendly and organized free transport to and from the train station for us. We were worried that the traditional Kang bed would be uncomfortable, but we ended up having the best sleep in some time. The breakfast was amazing as well!"
