The room had a separate shower and toilet, and was fully equipped. The courtyard was very quiet at night, making for a very comfortable rest. Before we left, they even gave us a gift of Pingyao aged vinegar, which was a very thoughtful touch."

"The large *kang* room we booked was incredibly comfortable. The hotel is a traditional double-courtyard compound, offering a rustic and tranquil setting. The ambiance is superb. While it's situated near the North Gate, a little distance from the main thoroughfare, it provides easy access to the ancient city. Plus, being away from the hustle and bustle makes it wonderfully quiet. Highly recommend!"
