Manolis Apartments Plakias

Although we had booked a pet friendly room for 2 nights, August 13-15 and had already paid, the owner refused to even see our reservation. He was rude and aggressive. At first he told us that he doesn't accept any other company but only the booking, then he told us that we have made a mistake and we have to go to Malia, 2.5 hours away. We explained to him that we have not made a mistake. We are from the area and know very well where we booked a room. Then he started yelling hysterically and banging his hand on the counter chasing us away. His voices alarmed his customers who came out to the balconies to see what was happening. In the end he told us that he doesn't accept animals anyway, although the room search criterion from our side was that it be pet friendly and so it was written in our reservation. I don't know the rooms, because we never used them, but I definitely do not recommend Manolis apar**ents in Plakias, because the owner is unreliable, rude and a peasant.

We had a very good time, my eighteen year old daughter and I spent 4 nights in this very well located property. In the evening we went out peacefully on foot and with just a few steps we were in the centre. Perhaps the only flaw was the air conditioning, present but not working at its best. We had a room with a kitchenette on the first floor overlooking the pool.

Excellent apar**ent, clean and spacious with a large balcony and pool. Owner extremely friendly. Close to the coast and restaurants. The swimming pool was cleaned every two days and there were enough beds for all guests. Book again next year.
