An excellent hotel, very nice and well located. It's expensive but once in a lifetime it's worth it.

Not the 5* service you expect. Guess is that there is new management heavily cutting back on costs. Swimming pool toilets always dirty. My bedroom sink had a million ants crawling out of it. There was a turndown chcolate, same one every night (when they decided to bother turning down my room which wasn’t often) but not the gifts like in previous years that you come to expect. Christmas dinner was bleak and we were told by other people sitting at our table that if they were bed and breakfast they were told they had no option but to book it at 211 per person I believe. The show wasn’t in English or any language other than Spanish so couldn’t be enjoyed and I was served a single plain piece of cod. No sauce not garnish. My only dietary requirement is that I’m pescatarian. Overall bleak and not good like previous years. Oh and to add, there was still wrappers on the cheese at the buffet. Was a beautiful place and still is but not 5* anymore and not worth the 5* pricing

Hotel lacks five star standards in some areas.. Lack of entertainment , restaurants not open, poor drinks service around pool. and disappointing service in restaurant some evenings.

Food is good but the rest is more 3-4 Star. Extremely noisy restaurants and bars with a lot of wind even inside the hotel. Service is nice but they have not enough people - everybody is in the rush. On the pools a lot of wind, so we were always on the beach (less wind).80 % of the people were english families with very small children, thus nois evertywhere

Excellent hotel , very clean everywhere. Only downside was adult evening entertainment which apart from a guitar player one night was poor but it wouldn’t stop us going again . Evening buffet was excellent in parts and average in others , starters and suites great mains ok but could be better breakfast was excellent. All in all a lovely stay and would recommend .

If you think you're going to get an enjoyable stay here, think again! 🤔 Overrun with feral kids running up and down shouting, screaming everywhere. A nightmare for couples without kids who want a relaxing holiday. You will also need the skills of Bear Grylls to navigate around the hotel as things aren't easily signposted and no one is there to show you where things are. If you don't have a hired car, excursions are ridiculously expensive. To see some caves, they wanted 160 Euros for two and for a two hour boat trip 65 Euros each. Absolute con. If you want to chance this place, bring your earplugs and valium! Never again.

Fabulous week at Princesa Yaiza. The staff are just fantastic, we were looked after superbly. Food was delicious and lots of choice. Very much enjoyed eating at Don Giovanni’s too.

Excellent facilities and buffet breakfast. Close to the beach and easy access to restaurants in both directions along the front.
