This family run hotel was a great find for relaxing a few days after our trek. It is easy walking distance to the lakeside but far enough away that you don't hear the nightclubs when you want to sleep at night. The beds are comfortable and the room is well designed. There are many thoughtful touches: the table attached to the wall by the door let's you have luggage underneath, the fridge is for you to use and not crammed full of mini bar stuff, there is even a beer mug provided. The full hot breakfast has eggs, chicken sausage, potatoes, toast, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee, we were plenty well fed. You can choose to sit out in the garden area for breakfast if you like. The owner and his family were very friendly and helpful with the owner speaking really good English.

Nice place in a nice area. Helpful staff, good quality room facility, great neighborhood close to the lake. Also have a nice green area in front of the hotel with view to the mountains. Rooms are big enough with a balcony. Hepled us to leave our stuff in the hotel while we went on trekking

The owner is very friendly and helpful and made our stay very easy. Rooms are great, clean and perfect for short stays. Hotel location is close to lakeside road which is great for activities and convenience. Wifi is good and bathrooms are clean.

Hotel Guru is a great place to stay. The location is very convenient for anywhere you want to walk to and quiet. Breakfast was good. Nice garden to sit it. The beds are very comfortable. The balcony had a beautiful view of the mountains. Very peaceful place to stay.

Checked in febuary 9th checked out 10th.upon checking in Guru at fron desk was very pleasant.Checking out a different person was there who was not helpful as he told me that he could not log my membership points that I would have to do it myself and was argumentative.Also checking out there was No breakfast at ALL without any apologies and the coffee was warm.I waited and he finally showed up at the front desk as he looked like he was sleeping at 7:42am and said it would be another 15 minutes I could not wait and left without breakfast.They need to get another person like Guru .I also had a issue with this person checking in a week earlier and at that time also he was also arragent at that time as well. Very disappointing service.

This is our first visit in nepal. I have found nice hotel Guru in pokhara. The hotel was nice' clean and good hot water with beautiful garden. It has nice room. Good hot shower. Hotel Guru run by Guru family
