Elysia is a beautiful retreat set atop a hill overlooking the Hunter Valley. I was doubly impressed by the pools, gyms, and health facilities. They helped balance out the effects of the nearby wineries. Also, the rooms are huge and recently renovated.

From the moment I arrive, I feel the weight of the world lifted of my shoulders. First, it’s the beautiful grounds and surrounds, fresh air and local wildlife, who seem at peace amongst the guests. The friendly and seamless check in service. The beautiful rooms with the valley views. The facilities, especially the sauna, steam room and spa. The staff who are always smiling and welcoming. And lastly, the food, so delicious, nourishing and wholesome. Elysia is the gift I give myself. And the gift I think every person should give themselves too. It’s the kind of retreat that you can adapt to suit your needs, whether it’s physical and/or emotional and/or spiritual. I highly recommend it.

I love a stay at Elysia. It really relaxes and energises me at the same time. I always take home new information about health and movement that benefits my life. The rooms are luxuriously comfortable. The daily program is set out well and the instructors are all lovely and will adjust according to you fitness level. The meals are incredibly delicious and I never feel hungry. All the staff are lovely, helpful and knowledgeable and I can’t wait for my next visit.

Loved staying at Elysia for 4 nights to re-energise and re-activate healthy eating and exercise in such gorgeous green surrounds. I'm going to try to make this an annual event!
