"Room we stayed in needs updating. Curtains were dirty & air conditioner unit was full of dust. The tiny shower over the bath in a huge bathroom was difficult to fit in as I am over 1.8m tall."

"A good option. Photos are accurate. Clean, well equipped. Views are lovely from villa 1. ...a 5 minutes walk to lovely pool which is lovely especially on hot 33c day. Few maintenance items. Deck is lovely though less so on 33c ++ afternoon. Villa 1deck faces west socopes setting hot sun. Air-conditioning very useful..evening bedroom. Easy walk from villa 1 car park. Easy check in , key in door, Air-conditioning on. Negative is it was 25 minutes drive to the main mid week open vineyards in traditional Pokolbin region. Villas closer to Belford. One direction old north road is unsealed. Sealed option only extra 5 minutes to Pokolbin main region ( Harrigans, Brokenwood, Drayton, Ivanhoe)."

Thistle Hill Guesthouse - Walk to Many Wineries and Restaurants

"Our family had the most amazing stay at Thistle Hill. Jo is Ana amazing host and promptly responded to any queries we had. The small touches such as some wine in the room and having fire pits set up ready to light with marshmallows and sticks ready to go make the experience all the more enjoyable. Thistle Hill is also an great location as is walking distant to a few wineries and a brewery."

"Stayed here for a few nights after reading the reviews. The location was good and it was a nice quiet place. The room itself was a good size, but was not very light and airy and could have done with some TLC and a freshen up with some lighter colors. The bed and the bathroom were good, although the locking of the room door was very strange, with the door having to be locked from the outside before going to bed. Never seen it before……. My biggest disappointment was the WiFi. It was slowwwwww, and I mean slow. Normally you would expect 30-50+mbps but this was between 3 & 4 mbps. I brought this up with the office lady who said she would discuss with the manager. Nothing was ever done and I didn’t receive any feedback. Another thing was the staff seemed very few and far between, possibly a cost cutting thing by the owners. On a positive note, the highlight was the food. This was very nice and well presented and the staff were very attentive."
