I recently stayed in the 5 bedroom luxury villa at Thistle Hill Guesthouse with a group of friends. We absolutely adored our time there as did our dogs . The villa has everything you need, is comfortable, clean and has space for everyone to relax in. There are 3 lounge areas so people are not on top of each other. We spent most of our time using the outdoor area which was just perfect with a pool and a totally fenced in yard for the dogs . We really appreciated the large property which is away from any road noise and the only noise is from birds! The beds are extremely comfortable and bathrooms are great too. We will be back!

I just spent 3 days at Thistle Hill, it was the perfect getaway with my daughter. Leisurely long walks, lovely dinners and beautiful grounds. So peaceful and great to be in nature and the kangaroos, gorgeous. Thistle Hill was.very clean, so comfortable and provided everything we could want. I think it would be the perfect place for a family reunion. It was my privilege to stay at such a well maintained and beautiful guest house. I would definitely recommend and will come back again.

Enjoy the spacious 2 bedroom cottage. Private, luxury and comfortable beds. Keep an eye out for subtle complimentary extras - additional fluffy towels, marshmallow roasting kit, fire pit and warm rug throws, even condiments and warm night cap beverage. You’ll be amazed at the provisions and how beautiful the vineyard outlook is. Highly recommended. Thank you.

My husband and I booked Thistle Hill Guesthouse for a long weekend to celebrate our 40th birthdays. We had the entire property with 26 of our close friends - and we LOVED having so much space, peace and quiet, good facilities and 2 pools to enjoy! There was lots of room to cook for us all, the kitchens were well stocked - and the bedrooms were so clean and beautifully prepped. This was a VERY memorable weekend - we adored staying here.

Beautiful, peaceful location with plenty of outdoor space between cottages so that we felt quite private from people staying in either of the other two buildings. We were two couples so it was great having two en suites. Kitchen had all we needed. Would have liked to have stayed more nights to allow more time to enjoy all the various options for sitting and relaxing around the wrap around verandah.

What can I say, but what a perfect location to host a garden wedding. We booked the whole property for a wedding hosting overseas guests and family. Lots of space, multiple locations for photographs, plenty of parking and facilities beautiful properties and well appointed rooms. We used multiple vendors on the Thistle Hill website to provide, bar, flowers and multiple other services and they were of the highest quality. Thistle Hill really cares about providing the best for their guests and customers. Thank you so much for all your help and for being so flexible. Loved it.

Thistle Hill is so peaceful and pretty, the grounds are stunning and the rooms are gorgeous, spacious and comfortable with absolutely everything you will need. Jo was a super friendly host and incredibly helpful. We loved our experience and will be back.

We were fortunate enough to stay at the Thistle Hill guest house for the October long weekend. It was, without a doubt, one of the most spectacular locations the Hunter Valley has to offer. Generously sized rooms, enormous TV, a kitchen any chef would be thrilled with and a beautiful outdoor area, including a wonderful pool. In a word, sublime. Thank you Jo, we will be back
