La struttura è situata davanti al lago. Immersa nella natura è molto suggestiva.
Siamo arrivati intorno alle 18 e purtroppo la piscina chiudeva alle 18:30 per cui non abbiamo avuto tempo di testarla. Offrono servizio di spa gratuita ma i massaggi sono a pagamento.
Il ristorante è ben fornito di alcolici, si mangia discretamente a buffet cucina sia tipica asiatica che internazionale a circa 15€ a persona. Anche la colazione è a buffet; si trovano prodotti dolci/salati e uova cotte al momento.
La nostra stanza (matrimoniale deluxe) era molto carina, su due livelli: nella parte inferiore il bagno ha un concept particolare. Una porta scorrevole ti porta direttamente nella stanza per metà a tetto coperto solo da una retina. Tutto molto bello ma poco pratico e soprattutto c’è il rischio di trovare molti insetti, come nel nostro caso.
Nella parte superiore c’è la stanza da letto, molto confortevole.
La tappezzeria non è del tutto pulita e questo va in contrasto con tutta la struttura.

Excellent location and vicinity Excellent staff Highly professional , attentive even for minor things. Fabulous kitchen,wonderful novelty menue I love the Madu tree with flowers Boradamana trees were flowering come again in December to eat them and see tank spill at "Dora dahaya".

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality during our stay at Deer Park Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the calm, quiet, and natural setting felt like living in a forest. The evening sunset over Girithale Lake was truly breathtaking, and the food was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend Deer Park Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We stayed at Deer Park Hotel on the 7th and 8th of August and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped, offering a comfortable space to relax. The pool was a real highlight ,clean, well-maintained, and perfect for both adults and kids. We loved the beautiful view from the property, which made our stay even more relaxing. The hotel is very family-friendly, with plenty of space and facilities that kept the children happy and entertained. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, and the food was fresh and delicious. Overall, a wonderful stay and we look forward to visiting again.

We had an incredible stay at deer park hotel. It feels like you are really living alongside nature but with the comforts of a luxury hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and the manager spoke good English, understanding and helping our requests. It was lovely to have free access to a sauna and steam room which we were allowed to turn on and use at 8am. The food was nice and the buffet was extensive, with a fruit cutting chef and fresh meat/fish being cooked throughout. We also ordered from the al a carte menu and after ordering a curry each (2 people) (which was meant to be a selection of 4 curries) they arrived with a selection of 10 as well as poppadoms and dips. This was very good value for money and they catered to our vegetarian needs. They arranged our safari- we were planning to go to Minneriya but the manager called a local conservationist and they recommended Kaudulla as there had been better recent sightings of the elephant gathering. The hotels price for this was cheaper than all of the tours available on tripadvisor and was a private jeep. The gardens at the resort were beautiful and had lots of ponds and wildlife and we felt very relaxed. It was very good value for the quality of hotel. Thank you!
