This is a beautiful, tranquil boutique hotel with a lovely garden, spa and pool only 2 minutes walk from Trindade and the Mercado do Bolhao. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Don’t get caught out thinking the treat on your pillow is nougat (artisan soap!!) after an evening out on port! 🤣

Saboraia is a fantastic hotel. The double room was large with a spacious bathroom as well. The design is nice and makes you feel comfortable. The breakfast selection is great and they even make various eggs and sandwiches on order. Avocado sandwich with pouched egg became our favourite. The spa is rather expensive and the out-door pool and jacuzzi was to cold for us on some rainy days in March. The steam bath, however, was a hot and nice experience that we enjoyed a few times during our stay. The staff is friendly ad very service minded. This was great and we know where we will stay during our next visit in Porto.

What a wonderful hotel. We love 5* independent boutiques and this was perfect. A quiet but central location, close to the metro (which was about half an hour to the airport). A really stunning property. Beautiful rooms; we had room 10 which was large with a kitchenette and sitting area, a huge bed, a very nice bathroom and a balcony which was a sun trap in the mornings. It was at the back of the hotel so very quiet. The breakfast was one of the best we have had with continental and cooked options - very good quality. Absolutely lovely people, both in the lobby and in the restaurant. Eduardo met us on arrival and gave us such a lovely, friendly welcome and absolutely brilliant recommendations - we followed them all and they made our holiday - thanks Eduardo! Highly recommending this hotel for Porto visits.

The hotel is very clean, comfortable and decorated to a high standard. We had a garden room which was really nice. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. The spiral staircase was a little precarious during the night! All the staff are very friendly and accommodating- the maids brought lavender oil on an evening. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially Florence. The location is good , just a couple of minutes walk from the Metro. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice, modern hotel on a quiet street next to Trindade metro station (direct metro to/from Porto airport) and close to the Bolhao food market and the main shopping street.
Very friendly and helpful staff who will provide useful guides of the area and attractions.
Lots of good places to eat within a 5-10 minute walk.
The hotel is a 20 minute walk to the main tourist attractions in Porto (Ribeira square, Luis bridge, castle etc) or you can get a metro at Trindade (2-3 stops).

Very friendly staff and wonderful experience in this hotel! Loved the jacuzzi and the pool. The rooms and the decor is very artistic! Highly recommend. The reception is open for 24/7 and incredibly good customer service. I will definitely consider coming back again whenever I visit Porto again!

Well-presented and located hotel with helpful staff and a really nice garden/poo/spa area.
It isn't right in the centre of the city but within a 5-10 min walk of everything you would want to see. Street was very quiet at night.
Didn't try breakfast, as it seemed disproportionately expensive

This is a gem of a hotel in a very unassuming location. It's a new hotel which previously was a soap factory. Our room was so beautiful. We had a suite with the large round bathtub in our bedroom and a separate living room with a deck. So recommend this room. There is a spa where you can use the Turkish bath and they have spa services available. The breakfast was fantastic with great variety and delicious. The location was close to everything you want to see in Porto. We scored in finding this hotel and highly recommend it.

This is an amazing small hotel in the heart of Porto. Pretty much all of the main sites in Porto are a walking-distance away (20mins walk for the ones furthest away).
The room was very bright, great size with amazing bathroom, an even better king-size bed and lots of nice amenities. Very very comfortable. Even had a tiny balcony, where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee, weather permitting ;)
The breakfast was top quality, particularly their eggs royale (mmmm!) - the self-service station doesn’t inundate you with too many options, but the ones that are on offer are beautifully made and presented. Top marks.
As you’d expect in a five-star establishment, the staff is very attentive, knowledgeable and eager to help, also top marks!
All in all, I’d totally recommend Saboaria, and would definitely stay there again on any future visits to Porto.
