the location is good; the room is clean; the service is good; and the bathroom is also clean; but the quality of wifi is bad.

The location of the hotel is ok, however there is construction going on at the back of the hotel, and a horrible noise can be heard non-stop even with the closed windows, even at night. Was impossible to sleep. The staff refused to move us to the other side. Don’t recommend!!!

Very old hotel. It had some stars probably 30 years ago. Breakfast is very poor too. Only couple of sweet bakery and that’s it. But there’s coffee and tea available. We stayed in the highest floor but even though there was staff very noisy upstairs at 8am. There’s huge construction in the neighborhood so impossible to sleep after 8 am.

Hotel Vice-Rei is about 10 minutes away. walking distance from the Casa da Música metro station, so getting to the old center of Porto with its main attractions (and the airport) is not the slightest problem. Right behind the hotel there is a very large hall with several dozen bars (restaurants) open until 24:00. So there is no problem even with a late dinner :-) The room we occupied was large and well-equipped. The only thing missing was a cordless kettle (but that's just a detail). First of all, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable! We also enjoyed breakfast. The selection may not have been amazing, but everything was tasty and fresh. There was something "sweet" (traditionally for those from the south of Europe, i.e. sweet rolls, jam) and something "salty" (traditionally for those from the north of Europe, i.e. cheese, cold cuts). As for the hotel service, it was fantastic! Both at the reception and during breakfast. And the staff cleaning the rooms, who can be seen every day and make sure that your stay is also a success! So from our experience, we recommend Hotel Vice-Rei!

The service was very good, excellent cleanliness and the workers were very friendly and cordial. The location is a little far from the center but there is a metro station nearby that made it easier for us to get around, there are also bus stops just 1 minute away that go to the beach near the Hotel.

The hotel is spacious, it has a room to watch TV and if you work you can do it quietly, the wifi is not good, we were working and it disconnected us all the time. The breakfast is standard, the rooms were clean, large and the sound was not so loud, it was possible to work quietly. The first day we had a problem with the people at the hotel and the water, however it was an issue that could be fixed, although initially the person at the reception was not very friendly, they solved it and even sent us water to our room and the following days we did. He was very kind. The service was good overall, I would recommend staying there. Downstairs there is a restaurant and bakery. It is about 25 minutes from the historic center on foot.

They do not have and do not give you any alternative option for people with food intolerances at breakfast Very outdated rooms, windows more than dirty, you could not see the street and the balcony that they have better not leave dirty with dust on the floor from months, rusty railing …
