Hotel Praga 1885

Its alright for the price but nothing special.

Generally good price to performance ratio (at least when we visited). I didn’t like the silverfish in the bathroom that much and the hot/warm water in the shower was a bit inconsistent/changed rapidly (and randomly) sometimes. There is a tram station near by and a subway station about 6min away (if you’re walking).

Location was great that all i can say. Hotel cancelled 24hrs before then agreed to give us the rooms paid for. Then 1 of the 2 rooms was for 3 people only had a double bed and a couch with no sheets or pillows etc. Tram runni g outside window all night. Lift slow dirty stairs looks like 1885 and altogether not good. If your blind and deaf this works great otherwise sray away.

The place is old but it's a decent one to stay .. Hot water was not available on the first day but they got it repaired the next day. The hotel staff and service was good. The bed and bathroom was clean. One of bathroom door was broken. But overall it was good and decent stay for a weekend. Location wise also convenient for travelling anywhere as the tram stop is nearby.

5 days stay Nothing wow, cleanliness isn't the high point of this hotel

Really terrible visit. I’d booked a junior suite and on arrival was allocated room 106. This is by far the dirtiest accommodation I’ve ever had with a huge stain in the middle of the carpet and questionable stains across the sofa. In addition the curtains were very flimsy and wouldn’t close meaning there was no privacy from neighbouring apartments that looked straight into the room. I asked fo check out and was told I couldn’t by reception (not the case I later discovered after checking with ***********). I spent an evening trying to find another room in the hotel. Others were disappointing and one had curtains hanging off the rail. Eventually found a standard double but this needed vacuumed and the toilet was so damaged that it was a health hazard and couldn’t be used. I checked out early the next day but the hotel still charged for one night in a junior suite rather than the standard double I had. I’ve written to them via *********** and they have neither responded or resolved this outstanding issue at the time of submission. Also during the stay the receptionist was very nice but there was no duty manager she could refer to for assistance. I wouldn’t stay here again
